Hasbro/Wizards of the Coast Preventing Larian From Porting Baldurs Gate 3 to Switch 2 - NatetheHate

Heh, at the time of writing this, the only reaction you've received is from 4 40Hz - which, when it comes to Act 3 and capabilities of Switch 2, is very much wishful thinking.
Couldn't agree more:ROFLMAO: S2 would probably catch fire (hence the 'fire' reaction) or even explode, if it tried to run at 40 fps in Act 3.
They would probably have to overclock poor old A78C cores to 5Ghz to reach the silky smooth 25 ms per frame dream.

Don't be a simpleton, NateTheHate. Wizards of the Coast doesn't have some arbitrary block on porting games to Switch 2.

This Swen guy is high on his own supply, and won't do it unless Larian is given a better cut to do the work. They also have other priorities.

He is the one ready to put customers last in all cases, and feels he has the power to dictate terms to Microsoft and Wizards of the Coast. With Microsoft, it worked.

Didn't they really struggle to port the game to the Series S or something like that? Maybe that is a contributing factor and they are taking that into consideration well with the Switch 2 perhaps?
