That VHS is sick. I don't like supporting LRG, but this collection looks awesome.

Edit: What the hell, this collection doesn't even include Stimpy's Invention on Genesis. That's absurd.

The zombie or crystal generation would be convulsed and crying if they saw that '90s show.

I used to laugh, and other times I laughed at how grotesque and bizarre the show was; other times it was disgusting...

But it was entertaining 😂.

SNES games are hard to find.

Seems like these are the included games:

Space Cadet Adventures — Game Boy
Veediots! — SNES, Game Boy
Buckeroo$! — NES, SNES
Time Warp — SNES
Fire Dogs — SNES

Stimpy's Invention is noticeably missing, which sucks since that's my favorite one. Also a Game Gear/MS game called Quest for the Shaven Yak, but that doesn't seem like a great loss.

I wonder if Stimpy's Invention will be added later. Either as free update or a dlc.

Similar to how the Disney collection added the Jungle Book game after launch.

I'm all for physical games, but I don't know how anyone in the age bracket to have nostalgia for this would want to clutter their house with all the garbage that comes with the collector's edition.

There are some really cool items in there, but for me it would just be too much. I wouldn't even know where to put everything.

I actually only collect statues. I don't have space for the rest and wouldn't know how to display them in a meaningful way. Yesterday I even bought the SpongeBob Shiny Edition for a ridiculous €12.99 and I love the statue, but the rest like the socks etc. i have no use for.

Will this be on gog/steam for the pc version?

edit: missing some versions :(

The collection contains every game that THQ produced and published for the Nintendo consoles.

Stimpy's Invention and Quest for the Shaven Yak were produced and published by Sega of America. Stimpy's Invention was developed by Bluesky software, and the GameGear game was made by Realtime Associates. Those aren't included here, maybe for legal reasons?

The creator of Earthworm Jim was a pixel artist on the Sega Genesis game: Ren & Stimpy: Stimpy's Invention.

It baffles my mind that they keep releasing Z grade shovelware shit like this, these games were licensed trash back in the day i had the misfortune to play many of them there's no nostalgia for badly made crap like this. Seems it was another cheap license to grab to pump out another turd compilation. As if the bubsy one wasn't bad enough lol

Loved watching that show when I was a kid but yeah man, those games were absolute ass and no amount of Salve will ever fix that.

Indeed, these weren't good game back then and I'd imagine they've aged even worse.

I used to watch Ren and stimpy when I was 6 or something. That show was a gateway into horror content for me growing up.

It is truly baffling it's like they are just looking for the cheapset licences to get. So far we have had such qualty turds like 3 stooges. plumbers wear ties, bubsy, now ren & stimpy.

Can't wait for other god tier games like home improvement, waynes world & bebes kids. In the time wasted on stuff like this they could have used it on smaller indies that are really nice games but not able to get physicals out on their own.

It's pretty ironic how many people won't buy a downgraded version of a good game that plays and looks quite fine, and then they'll buy the limited edition of these releases with all the plastic crap that comes with them because hurr durr physical games, right in my nostalgia.

I can't remember having any fun on any of those back in the day i got them as rentals from blockbuster and truly regretted it the pics on the box tricked my ass, the cartoon is enjoyable but the games were garbage. Nostalgia will get you so far but if the game at it's core is utter shit then nothings really gonna help. Nowadays i only use LRG for getting indie stuff and other newer non indie switch releases that never had physicals. Grabbing their collector editions is a huge risk, as the outsource all the bits to various sweatshops in china so if any are delayed the whole ting gets delayed even if they are just waiting on a pin badge not even going into the quality issues they have lol. I got lucky with the grounded collector edition as that ended up been pretty nice but no i wouldn't risk another collector edition after i saw just how bad the sonic x shadow debacle was.

Anything at all having to do with a Yak is a great loss indeed, friendo.

So it doesn't contain Stimpy's Invention? AKA the best of the 16-bit Ren & Stimpy games? Well that's kinda lame.

Seems like these are the included games:

Space Cadet Adventures — Game Boy
Veediots! — SNES, Game Boy
Buckeroo$! — NES, SNES

Fire Dogs — SNES

Yeah it's missing the best of the lot. That may not be saying much (the R&S games weren't anything special), but my nostalgia's for Stimpy's Invention and the collection is very incomplete without its presence.

Welp that explains why the collection is so mid. Would've been nice if they could've gotten the SEGA games in the collection, but alas.

I might have tried to get the normal version just to have all the R&S games in one cart. But it doesn't even have two of the three R&S games I had back then.

Is it me or has there been a flurry of cartoon classic game collections recently?

Disney Afternoon collection
Nickelodeon Splat collection

and now the Ren and Stimpy collection

I mean what is it with reviving failed franchises, none of the Ren and Stimpy games were smash -hits or must-haves, then on top of that Bubsy coming back from the dead, I mean WTF? How about brining back Cool Spot and Earthworm Jim?

Cool Spot was neither, despite it being your typical, good early-mid 90s Virgin game.

Stimpy's inventions not being there is very odd considering they have monsters for the Genesis on the Splat pack

Companies realise they can jump on the bandwagon for a decent enough ROI, with the investment part being minimal.

'm guessing the rights for this stuff is dirt cheap.
especially considering digitally the splat pack only 15 bucks.
I bet Ren Stimpy digital is going to be 20 to 25-30 Bucks tops
