Wheres the PC Bubsy version of the game?
That one late Bubsy version for PC is incredibly pretty when compared to its MD and SNES counterparts.

I hated Bubsy as a kid, so there's no way I would spend a cent on this collection. Between the zoomed-in screen and super floaty controls, I don't know how it ever succeeded.

It would be funny if they rebooted the IP with a new game, in this age where established IPs like Banjo, Crash and Spyro don't get much love.

PC release same date as the console versions. (edit: read it wrong, the Win95 version, get it).

Would be interesting if the "Refurbished Edition" of Bubsy 3D actually played well. It'll never be a well-designed game, but some tweaks to the play mechanics (I forget, did this game not have shadows during jumping or something like that?) and a clean-up of the visual issues would at least make it worth a look without the suffering of its uncorrected errors. (As mentioned, it will have analog controls, which are sure to help.) I'm glad they included the 3D game, and I hope the tweaks made to it offer at least a tiny bit of redemption for this debacle.

(BTW, for those who don't know/remember, Bubsy 3D was the first project of the studio which would eventually create Syphon Filter and Days Gone.)

I saw that they added analog controls to the game.

Theres a DF Retro about that version, you should totally check out.

Growing up playing a ton of Bubsy 2 (mostly the mini-games)....nah don't buy this. If you've never played them emulate them for 10 minutes a piece. Save your money. It's hard to even be nostalgic for these games.

I think I might get this! I actually half enjoyed the original on SNES mainly for the fact they were trying so hard to make Bubsy the next gaming mascot! It failed miserably but boy did they give it their all! Once you got used to the floaty controls, it wasn't too bad.

They cared more about making the character look cool and relevant than actually crafting a "good" game...

NGL, and I'm not being sarcastic, but this is one of the highlights of the show to me. Not that it was much of a show in the first place.

Just nice to see something that didn't feel like a "best practices" product, could make fun of itself, wasn't yet another military FPS, Soulsborne, or Wuxia Soulsborne derivative. And it's nice to see "Atari" actually putting in some effort with reviving their classic IP with new entries. This could be the first legitimately good Bubsy game (tho I think that 2.5D game was somewhat well-received too, right?), and I'm glad they've got a Bubsy 3D model for him in there too.

Good lord what a disaster that game was.
