I don't hate the movies but I prefer the books way more. I remember going to the midnight launch for every book release. I'm a huge fan of the books and I read them during my highschool and college years.

The movies had to cut out of a lot of stuff due to the later books getting bigger in size. Despite my issues with the show regarding casting, I'm pretty sure it's gonna to be much better just due to having a lot more to work with. I can see the show going on for 8 to 10 seasons. I'm hoping each season has ten episodes each with each being around an hour
