Yeah I hade to brute force it.
Gave Melu the Sweet Crystal CE (gives ignore invincible) and boosted her with Double Castoria and Lady Avalon for her Arts NP. Had to respawn twice though (with command seals and a quartz), his fucking NP ignored my invulnerable buffs

He'll be in the evocation shop for us in 2027 (he was 2025 on JP server), so no worries. Same time as Ruler Lolivinci and Setanta.
Just glad you finished the event. Apparently it's never gotten a re-run.

Managed to get my galaxy class vessel to NP2 relatively painlessly.
For what it was worth, I was having bad luck, did a FP 100 pull (make sure you don't hit the "a" next to the shift key accidentally when typing FP lol), and got her the next 11 pull.

Congrats! I got the first copy in 30 pulls, debating on trying for a lucky dupe.
I did get the Nito Alter CE, dayum, that's some nice art.
Is Andromeda workable in a Quick Loop team? I don't want to keep investing in more characters I'll never use. Looks like she has a 30% and a 10% NP charge on her skills, but no NP Gain+ in her kit anywhere. I'm guessing that's not enough on neutral enemies. Wish they'd give us a Castoria for Quick someday. Almost all of my favorite servants are Quick NPs, and it always feels disadvantageous to use them.

All events have a few day grace period after the event ends.
Some event shops have items that aren't available until after the event ends, like the Valentine one. I think the chocolate for QP exchange didn't open until after the event ended.

8 years in and I just learned that having a single avenger in your lineup lowers your debuff resist...

Whew just redeemed my chocolate before the cutoff. Some of the new stories were pretty fun. I still don't get why they made all Suzuka Gozen versions friendzone material. One of her defining characteristics is that she's looking for a boyfriend. I am kinda confused why they put Sugitani in the 'male' side, when she just ends up giving you chocolate anyways. What was the point?

Character is gender ambiguous. They were originally male I think. It was addressed in the grail wars event s/he was in.
It's different from the other gender swaps. There's the gender swap where they were "always" female and history just remembered wrong and the ones that remember being male but are now female due to reasons.

Yea I read some of the voice lines that said some other Japanese person that I don't recognize is responsible for him turning into a woman, but he/she was ok with it and just ran with it.
Then you have Caenis who was originally a woman, but is somehow also listed under the men's section. Just kinda inconsistent. Sugatani basically played out the story as a female chocolate giver anyway, and they even went mildly tsundere with her. Well whatever, FGO is a big mess of weird genderswap stuff anyways, as you said.
Speaking of genderswap, Molay finally released in JP as his (original from FGO Arcade) male self. Honestly, I think the design is pretty badass, but I always like Cleric/Paladin/Templar aesthetics.
I think the sword looks a little dumb but otherwise he looks great.

The question is the personality from when they were a man or woman? Not all servant's mental state matches their summoned age.

I'm not sure about Fate specific lore, but in Greek mythology, Caenis was a major beauty, and Poseidon raped her. He felt mildly bad about it afterwards, so he granted her one wish. She wished to become a man so she'd never have to worry about getting raped again. Also explains her hatred of Poseidon.
Supposedly in Fate lore, they're summoned at their peak, but what that means varies from servant to servant. Then you have alters and multiples like kid Gil, Caster Gil, Setanta, Cu Prototype, etc. That means some servants had multiple 'peaks' I guess. In my headcanon, that means whatever version that servant was summoned as is the de-facto set of characteristics as that iteration. So Caenis should have been under the women side, unless she gets summoned as male in a different summoning. Obviously Nasu plays it more lose with that kind of stuff, though. Like Proto Arthur isn't considered an "Unknown", they put him in the male side.
Got both servants on a single multi-roll, thanks for the mercy, RNGesus. I was hesitating to even roll since I tried to get a 2nd copy of Andromeda and failed miserably, wasting most of my savings in the process.

Got our queen NP2 and Hassan NP7 in relatively few pulls.
Still grinding the event shop since I only lightly touched the event banner, and no one has event CE on their supports. Working on grinding gold currency currently.
Mean they dropped the new story when the event is still going as far as AP spending goes. Not like I don't have 1000 apples but still.
Made it past the first boss in the new story chunk.

Working on boss #2 now.

KO enemies to stop instant death. Instant death still happened anyway so I didn't have time to worry about the special mechanic. Ended up using a leyline stone revival.

Yeah that's the one. It was rough.
Since Avengers get a damage buff in these fights, I've been having to bust out Space Ishtar again instead of nuking everything with Melusine. Spishtar works pretty well with double Koyan and Oberon.
I'm not to the second boss yet, but I'm about to start that section.

I've been making use of my level 118 summer Kama in this story. She has better NP loop recharge with double castoria than Space Ishtar I think. I have both NP5 so results may vary.
Awkward story section to have summer Scath caster in My Room, lol.
The other spoiler was from a funny Persona 4 parody comic. Lookup Persona 4 and that line, it will come right up. There's even a YouTube dub of it.

Made it through boss #6. Boss 2 was lore wise supposed to be one of the weaker ones but was the hardest so far...
This is even when boss 6 requires half of your party to be a set config.
I need to stop playing at 4:30am lol.

I didn't use a walk through and didn't learn about the special mechanic until the 2nd fight, and I was already waist deep into the fight so I didn't have the best setup.
You're supposed to notice a tiny icon in a spot you don't normally look at and tap on it when your mystic code skill list is closed to read what the special conditions are for the fight.
AP isn't spent until you finish the fight in the new story section but I was already half way through and didn't want to start over.
Beat in 32 turns, almost needed to use a 2nd leyline stone that fight. Tons of BS mechanics.
Your servant class doesn't matter so go nuts. (No avenger class allowed though)
The mechanics comes down to spamming your mystic code skills so pick 1 with the shortest cooldown on skills.
Make sure you can use at least 1 mystic code skill when a new character takes the stage.
You need to spam extra attacks, crits, and NP to lower your mystic code cooldowns.
If you can't spam your mystic code skills, debuffs pile up, and it becomes impossible to do meaningful damage.
Mystic code skills remove the fight specific debuffs. The skill type doesn't matter, just that you used it.
A character needs to remove all debuffs to do any meaningful damage. Characters can easily end up with 5+ debuffs.
And... if the above wasn't enough, his final HP bar, the largest, has a 100% heal guts.

Looks like I finished at a good time since they just dropped a bunch of new bleached Earth stuff.
Blew 3000 of that dust and untold amounts of QP on the avenger class buffs that unlock after Ordeal Call II lol.
