I have the bluray still bummed by the 4:3 ratio. The series could really benefit from a facelift.

How do you not put "from the writer of Thor: The Dark World" in your title? Shame on you.
Literally my point.ITV studios worked on those shows (you can check credits lists and various sources online). You seem to be confusing the two. ITV studios produces shows for the ITV broadcasting company as well as doing outsourcing work for those that want their services such as other broadcasting companies. ITV studios did actually work on those shows but it is a massive studio with an extremely large body of work
Nah, just let it be. They more than likely wouldn't be able to do it justice. I'd rather see something like Monster or Lupin III get a live action treatment.
Literally my point.
I'm not saying that they didn't do those shows (like, I say they do work on "low budget junk"). What I am saying is that that it is a separate arm of the business.
It's like saying that [insert show from HBO here] sucks because it is from Warner Bros. Television who also does [insert shitty show from one their reality TV production arms]. It is an insane argument, Jeremy fucking Kyle has nothing to do with whether or not this show will be good and/or have a high budget.
Nothing filmed/animated in 4:3 should be released in 16:9.
happened with DBZ
I keep hearing Keanu as spike and he could do the gunplay stuff but the doesn't fit spike's carefree loosey-goosey attitude that shows in day to day as well as during fights
Can't see keanu fighting like this

Now maybe him as Vicious

I'd really like to see a Live action Baccano! About the only adaptation I feel could work, and you wouldn't need to worry about whitewashing.
Eh, bit of a different situation. This seems to have more "muscle" behind it than just GDT pitching his script to various companies.Guillermo del Toro was attached to a LA Monster project for HBO. Never came to fruition just as this won't.
Your point serves absolutely no purpose as those people were correct. Your arguement is that also produce good shows which as a no shit.
The production company has a far greater input than the broadcasting company on the overall quality of the product. They help choose and designate how the programme is being made rather than simply greenlighting it to be made.
lol. He's not going to do a budget tv show.
This is the best news.
Wait, TV? Maybe not the best news.
There was a live action Cowboy Bebop. It's called Firefly.
oh cool they are reviving Firefly!

Has Watanabe any involvement?
She is from Singapore, so yeah probably Chinese. It's also a fan theory that Spike is Israeli/Jewish but I think Watanabe said he never gave Spike a definite ethnicity.Do we know the ethnicities of the main people in Cowboy Bebop. I think I remember hearing Faye is Asian (Chinese specifically I think?).
Bebop worked in spite of being anime. Should only be an improvement to make it live action.I really don't care for anime in general, but I freaking loved Cowboy Beebop. I'm quite torn over this news.
He's not going to do a budget tv show.
Even looking past itv being behind this it comes from the writer of those awful thor movies
Bebop is something that requires great creative direction too though so we'll see if it's a director driven tv show or what. But... this is prolly gonna be garbage
Should only be an improvement to make it live action.

Cool. No idea why they didn't jump on this sooner. The one time they can realistically cast Caucasians in an anime adaptation. Don't know where they're gonna get the budget though.
I'm sure Fox will manage to cancel this after one season somehow.
