Talk about dropping a trailer into fifth gear. Universal’s Sunday launch of The Fate of the Furious trailer became the largest debut ever, setting a global record with 139M views in its first 24 hours and zooming past the 127.6M first-day views recently posted by Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

the furious and or fast series is ths only movie series that makes me feel like an old man.

how can anyone watch the first 30 seconds of that trailer and not go deaf from obvious catch phrases?

The cast of FF has a ridiculous social media profile right now. The Rock has 80 million instagram followers and Vin Diesel has 100 million follows on facebook.
 
So, will it break past F7 on the grossing list as well? Time will tell.

Best part is the trailer not telling the audience Charlize Theron is the villain - give a white girl fake dreads and everyone just knows.

actually i think i'm underthinking it.

I liked 'gone in 60 seconds' and i tried to watch I think the one where everybody started saying 'hey these are actually good!' (the one that either was tokyo drift, or the one after that) plus the first one with the gif up above.

it's masively cheesy. I don't know. I appreciate car racing in movies, but a movie for the sake of it with hooooorrible acting and the worst plot seems terrible. especially since the plot seems basically porn level (and having fucking 8 of them doesn't help this comparison)

Thanos, using the reality gem, brings the family into the MCU. The deal is that he'll use the Infinity Stones to bring back Han but they need to pull off the heist of the universe by stealing the other gems.

Yep, this is gonna make a shit ton of cash and then Fast 9 or whatever they call the next one, will be speeding into cinemas in a few more years.

Not a bad thing though, these movies might be mindless entertainment but they are definitely entertaining.

I watched the first one on dvd in high school auto tech class on a ps2. It's neat how it's still going and changed entirely to a big billion dollar dumb fun action franchise.
 
The trailer was practically the same length as a film, l get the feeling l have already seen it all.

Shame as it looks like fun.
