I can't imagine what it would be like to be a pro athlete and having to listen to the shit talking, drunk ass fans screaming at you the whole time. But you're right, you've gotta be the bigger man and let them go for your own sake.
I reckon that Lions fan is gonna have a pay day here soon! I'm sure there's a dozen sleezy lawyers trying to ID that fan right now :LOL:

There is a decent buffer between football players and fans as well, he went out of his way for that interaction

Unlike basketball where fans are right on top of players and where I sat for so many years, the bullpen where we were sitting right next to the fans at many stadiums

He'll get a quick settlement, probably like $10k just to avoid court and lawyer fees. If he takes it to court he'll have to prove damages, and with him continuing to talk shit after the swing you don't have much there.

*turns out it was just pulling on the fan's shirt. He'll walk away with almost nothing, DK will get his fine/suspension.

Agreed, but I'm waiting to see if DK pulls THE CARD. He could still get a lot of public support depending on certain details, true or otherwise.

The ending of that game was so wild I forgot who played in it 30 seconds later because all I could think about was the 4 crazy penalties in a row which first got the Lions into the red zone and then denied them the score to hand the Steelers the victory lmao

Pickens has been one of the few bright spots for another miserable Cowboys season. He can be mercurial, but there aren't a lot of human beings on the planet that can do what he does on 50/50 jump balls.
 
It doesn't appear like the N word or C word is being used here. Guy may have been Professor X'ing it into DKs head though.

So far I haven't seen anyone else come forward saying that fan used that keyword

If it turns out he only did in fact use his full legal name and got grabbed over that, dude should be hit with a huge suspension

Guy also seems to be asking DK to sign a piece of Steelers merch. Not sure how calling him the forbidden words would get that done.

I wonder if the NFL is already in contact with the fan telling him what to say so he can get a couple of free tickets and a Detroit Lions lunch box / butt plug.

Will be interesting to see how big the penalty is.

That penalty gets expensive if upheld

 
Suspension upheld and I have no problem with him losing all that money for not only touching a fan but then claiming he used those key words and people online calling the fan a racist now

 
So, I live in Metro Atlanta, and the Rams (along with the 49ers) are my team. Love them.

And LOL at the game last night. I just ... my co-worker was at the game, and I texted her when it was 14-0 "LOL at my Rams." Very happy for the Falcons. Good win.

I just found out Kirk Cousins signed a 4 year 180 million deal to basically become a glorified 2nd string QB.
I almost had a brain aneurysm.

The contracts today are out of control

I admit I made decent money when I played but not generational wealth like todays players

Will go one step further, I am great friends with one of the dads of a player on IU's Basketball team and even those kids are making insane amounts of money now
 
As a lifelong Bears fan, I can't comprehend this season lol

I don't even care what happens next. Expectations have been far exceeded.

Caleb getting 4,000 passing yards would be nice, but he'll get it eventually anyway. Maybe he wants to just get it out of the way, which I wouldn't blame him. I'd rather have a nice balance on offense, which they have!

Patriots post Brady deserve a Super Bowl, eagles are a year removed and will hold onto the title tightly, chargers, broncos, Seahawks, bills are in the Super Bowl bubble. Bears, 49ers, Ravens, Jacksonville, packers and rams I appreciate but they can't afford to screw up which they will.

And than you got the nfl draft and teams finding their footing. Browns in another year will move on from Watson.
 
Imo this has been the best overall NFL season in well over a decade(49er fan). The amount of close games, as well as the the old guard failing to make the playoffs has been nothing short of awesome to watch.

Close games, comebacks, storylines, Chiefs bad, it's been incredible. Hopefully the playoffs live up to it, I don't have high expectations from my Bills this year, but it's a wide open field and we always have a chance with Allen.
