Yeah, I remember playing CoD classic when it was ported over to the consoles for the release of MW2 and having a moment where I thought I was loosing my mind or that one of the allies was actually voiced by Jason Straham...

I wonder if he was cheap for how popular he would become in the years following....

I could never get over how scripted the SP campaigns were, so after playing them on friends' computers I never bought them.

COD: Black Ops II is probably the worst game I've ever seen. The Strike Force missions were just infuriating.....applying RTS design to a FPS game. I don't even know how I passed those missions and that was on Easy mode.

I finally played through the campaign on Veteran difficulty over the weekend. I only tried the first strike mission. They were insanely difficult. I'd rather play World at War then that strike force mission again. Commanding the troops did nothing to make it easier. Could've been amazing, but oh well.

I remember running a 16 man dedicated deathmatch server. It was always packed and I had this stats program that I would set to parse each night for server stats and upload to my website. Had a wicked ping when I would hop in game Good times.

I was in a movie theater once and a trailer for the game came up before the previews. I was like holy shit this game looks awesome.

I got Battlefield 1942 instead though, which was a mistake because my internet wasn't fast enough to play online, and my graphics card wasn't good enough to play with a lot of bots. i ended up playing it later. Never beat it though.

Allied Assault was much more significant a game than CoD.

Well, I have seen games worst than COD: Black Ops II. Maybe the most disappointing is a better description.

Worst games are Deadly Towers, E.T., The Karate Kid, Big Rigs Over The Road Racing, and Ride To Hell: Retribution.
