It's been just over 6 months since I've been posting on this great forum and I've
reached 1,000 posts with this here. I have to say that my first 1,000 posts have
been memorable and I've encountered many weird and wonderful posters along
the way. I pledge to each and every one of you that I will remain a faithful GAF
poster and be true to the foundations that this internet forum was based on -- truth,
comedy and everlasting interesting debate.

I remember for the longest time I'd just read people's posts without reading who posted it, so soon after that I started reading the posters' names as well. Avatars really help to remember too. It's cool to start to know somebody just from reading their posts, and especially so many people. Takes a long time though!
