god damn it, it is not.

They will not listen op. That, or they refuse to accept the truth, that this is NOT a direct fucking port of the PSP game.

RR6 with all the new tracks plus the PSP nitro + drift system and online play may be the winner.

may? MAY?

We are getting a Ridge Racer game with at least THIRTY different tracks, a single player mode that's more ambitious than any of the previous games in the series, online multiplayer with up to TEN FUCKING PLAYERS for the first time in the history of the franchise, high resolution graphics, 5.1 surround sound and gorgeous ROCK SOLID 60fps graphics with stunning environments!!! If you call that a simple PSP port then take your retard pills now!

If this game isn't going to provide countless hours upon days upon weeks upon months of orgasmic gaming bliss, then I don't know what will!!

Do you guys have any idea how long I have dreamed of playing a Ridge Racer game supporting a multiplayer online feature???? Has it dawned on you just for a split second how absurdly awesome it will be drifting together in harmony with 9 other human Ridge Racer players online????

Let me give you guys an example of the significance an RR game going online is with me....

I contacted the authors of the epsxe playstation emulator a while ago. I wanted to see if they could get epsxe to support kailleria(a program that lets you play mame and other emu games online....it's pretty shitty at this point though) for their emu, JUST so I could play Ridge Racer Revolution against ONE other player(because that is the max the game allows remember)! Just to be able to race against ONE other human player in the FIRST RR Playstation game would be enough for me to go ape shit! But we are getting an RR game that will support TEN HUMAN PLAYERS!!!! Just think about that gentlemen....just for a second. It hasn't even sunk in with me yet.

I am sorely dissapointed with that one guy who said he thinks BO is better because the car seems more stuck to the road and RR seems more like a hovercraft. Get a clue man!

Due to my lack of funds, 2 of these racers will have to wait until after launch. Thanks to 1UP's coverage, the decision is MUCH HARDER NOW! Thanks, guys. :lol

It's true, you can't spin around doing 1080's at 200mph in Burnout.

One thing is very apparent from these 1UP videos: The XBOX360 Launch has the most quality games I have ever seen in a single launch. All three of these racers are games I would purchase if I was not purchasing so much other stuff on the 22nd.

So true. 3 quality racers, half a dozen quality sports games, kameo, pd0, call of duty, king kong, doa4, etc. etc. etc. Unbelievably good for a launch, actually.

Btw, DOA4 is delayed till January in Europe. It's still a launch title in Japan but I don't know for the US.
It could be once again a case of Tecmo screwing up Europe because they do not publish the game themselved there I guess. Would'nt be the first time...

It certainly looks like one. However, I'm certain it has a few extras so that it seems all-new. It should be a good rental.

I'm getting PGR3 and Need for Speed at launch. Both of them provide something different to me. Hell, I'll probably get Full Auto and Burnout as well..... I think all of them have a different element to them that is fun.

That will suck ass if DOA4 doesn't make launch as Blim alluded too.

Is that EA guy acting or does he really talk like that?

He was most certainly not acting. He's actually a very cool/funny guy too... except when the camera was turned on, he kind of stiffened up.

Hm. i heard about the delay rumors too, i thought it was worldwide though, and i hoped they would use the extra time to spice the graphics up a bit...won't be the case if it's just europe though.

They are mos def not going to spice up the graphics in DOA4.

I think this has been debated many times over, but that flat looking anime style is Team Ninja's aesthetic through and through.

Chespace, words cannot describe my gratitude to you for posting these RR6 impressions. Thanks so much man.

Now a couple of requests please...

1)Can you please find out if the game will support force feedback, if a force feedback wheel comes out for the 360?

2)Would you mind posting a vid of you playing the game and showing us all the different tracks and features?

I'd appreciate it man, thanks

I don't know if anyone noticed, but to me the most amazing detail in PGR3 is the faint reflexion of the road and it's surroundings on the windshield when the sun is really hitting it. It just looks sooo real on those bright sunny tracks! :D

PGR3 does not have faint reflection. Chespace can confirm this :)

In that video PGR3 looked pretty bad and RR6 awesome...even though the framerate sucked...A camera issue ? Dunno...

I think its due to more of the quality of the vids...1up needs to hire Blim Blim me thinks.

the RR6 video was given to us by namco. they didn't want us taking video off the reviewable for some reason. and yeah, unfortunately, it does look choppy in that video.

the PGR3 video is a bit rough because it's handicam footage from X05. MS couldn't get us direct feed in time.

Che can you please find out of RR6 supports force feedback?

Can you find out if there will be ANY steering wheels whatsoever for the Xbox 360?

I'm not about to do any actual research on this, but I'd say the chances of RR6 supporting force feedback when there is no force feedback wheel for the 360 to be at or around 0%.

Also, Outrun sucks. That is all.

You didn't have to throw that last comment in there but thanks anyway for contributing.

I hope Chespace or anyone else can find out what the deal is with the steering wheel situation on Xbox 360. I mean damn....THREE FRIGGIN RACING GAMES coming out for the system at launch, and not ONE mention of what, if any wheels will be available?

All this talk about the roundtable discussion and what games they tried out is pointless without any info on any wheels. Not everyone playes with a pad Y'know....

Write a letter to Logitech and ask them if they have any plans. Seriously.
