Keep in mind not only did she not make a claim with her own insurance, she claims a red cement ball drove a nail into her tire. They may have rejected it based off the damages being too high or something too. Its possible shes using the situation to make some free money.

Did you watch the video? The ball was shorter than the side window. It's easy to miss if you were just watching for pedestrian traffic ahead of you. It's not like a boulder the size of the one in Indiana Jones rolled into her car.

Nail, bolt, tube shaped piece of metal. The ball did hit the area of her rear tire and it could have been part of what was holding the ball in place before being dislodged.

Also some of you are arguing too hard to protect target.
