I watched that whole episode of Commander in Chief, but the thing about it is that I turned it to House for one commercial break and enjoyed that little 4 minutes of house more than I enjoyed the whole Gina Davis thing. There was so much hype for Donald Sutherland in the commercials for the show, but he really only had like 5 minutes of tv time. Maybe I'm just spoiled by the first four years of West Wing, but Commander in Chief will have to pick up in intensity (and believability.... no world leader would ever risk attacking a foreign sovereign at the behest of saving one guilty person... goes against countless UN Charters and Int'l Laws) if it wants to keep me as a viewer. Especially in competition with House, which was fucking AWESOME. I want to find the exact transcript of what he said to that one woman doc who was getting on his ass about cutting the guys hand off. "You all exist in this fantasy where we do what is good for the person, but we don't. we do what is right! nothing is fair!"
