sunday night. yankee stadium. randy johnson - david wells...ITS ON MOTHER FUCKERS

yankees go 158 - 4, and randy johnson goes 31 - 1 with his only loss coming against the orioles in september when he tries to pitch the entire game right handed.

on a more serious note. guys i need your support on this. im sure most of you have seen the commercial for fever pitch. well we need to boycott this fucking garbage. please do not see this movie...we cant let filth like this ruin the children or baseball.

I haven't been this excited about a season in a long time. The Jays are going to make some waves, even if we're still bound to finish behind the Yankees and Bosox. Still, we'll make serious progress, and it'll be a fun season.

I'm hoping my pathetic Tigers roar a little this year as well. No pitching....but I saw on ESPN the other night that Maggie Ordonez was the surprise of the spring! He can run, damn it!

as a red sox fan, i will NOT be seeing fever pitch. it looks fucking stupid. i will side with joe on this one. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS TRASH!

I cosign this boycott. FUCK THE EVIL BOSTON PROPAGANDA MACHINE. :lol

Anyway, I'm prepped for the season. I bought my new Yanks cap for 2K5, and I'm ready to roll. Hopefully with the fear of the juice prevalent, homers go down, pitching becomes better, and Curt Schilling becomes mortal again. :P

RESPECT, BITCHES

The Braves will march on a road of broken bones and shattered souls to their 14th consecutive division title, and then lose in five games in the first round divional series. You heard it HERE first!

$10 says when the red sox get their rings and raise their flag the yankees will be on the top step clapping them.

Astros will have 3 co-rookies of the year [Taveras, Scott, Astacio or Astacio, Scott, Burke], Roy and Roger will tie for the CYA, Bagwell will win HR title + MVP, and Biggio will win batting title. Astros sweep all 3 playoff series.

So this is what it's like to act like a cubs fan...

I can't in good conscious support a thread started by a Yankee fan for stickiedom. Just ain't right.

We need everyone to post their predictions for the laughter and enjoyment of later generations.

AL East: Red Sox
AL Central: Twins
AL West: Angels
AL "I LOVE BEING THE" Wildcard: Yankees

ALDS:
Angels over Yankees (Yes that's right I think the Angels will be above the AL East teams)
Red Sox over Twins

NL East: Mets <-- this is my crazy-ass pick. suck it Braves fans!
NL Central: Cardinals - duh
NL West: Padres - I don't care if Barry is back in 6-8 weeks instead of half a year
NL "I LOVE BEING THE" Wildcard: Cubs - don't want any Cubs fans after me :(

NLDS:
Cardinals over Cubs
Mets over Padres

ALCS: Angels over Red Sox
NLCS: Cardinals over Mets

WS: Cardinals over Angels - mainly because the Cards are still smarting over getting humiliated and bent over like Schillinger on Beecher season 1 style by the Sox last year

Here are my 100% guaranteed predicitions for the year...

AL West = Angels
AL Central = Twins
AL East = Red Sox
Wildcard = Blue Jays

NL West = Dodgers
NL Central = Cardinals
NL East = Braves
NL Wildcard = Cubs

Halladay will win 23 games this year :)

calder is bright. The METS are a lock to come up on top although the Yankees comment is crazy.
They're only a lock 'cause they've got fucking mutants on their team.

:)

Oh, and I predict Andruw Jones hits .290/45 HR/115 RBI/390 OBP/620 SLG/1010 OPS :)

The freak hit his 10th HR out today, and is hitting over .400 for the Spring. Willie Mays talked Andruw into widening his stance, the same way he hit in the minors when he won two minor league player of the year awards in a row, as an 18 and 19 year old. :)

He went to this new stance in September last year, and went onto post a 1057 OPS in the playoffs vs the Astros, with 2 HRs.

Andruw is going to rip baseball up this year. :) The best CFer in the NL East is Andruw Jones, not the overhyped new Met.

The only significant question about this baseball season is how far over .500 Ichiro will bat.

He's going to bat .998 this season, with his only out coming in September when the As get sick of it and send 4 players to tackle him down while he's running to first during an infield hit. The umps will not do a damn thing because they hate "Japs".

so that means 161 game hitting streak? Suck it, Joe Dimaggio!

i have inside sources that tell me Ichiro is actually disgusted by that dirty, steroid using Barry Bonds and has decided to hit 75 homeruns just to erase Barry from the record books.

WORLD SERIES

John Smoltz starts four consecutive games, pitches all nine innings in each and strikes out over 100 batters. The Braves start a 20 year reign of horror when Smoltz reveals that he is in actuality a robot, and cannot be stopped.

AL Central: Twins
AL West: Angels
AL Wildcard: Yankees

NL East: Marlins
NL Central: Cardinals
NL West:SD
NL Wildcard:Braves

World Champs= Florida Marlins

WOOOOOOOOOh

I've got a good month of heckling ahead at the Rogers Centre (to be called "Skydome" from here on out) Red Sox come to town first, and while their 3rd baseman (where I sit) isn't of any real importance (Mueller you pansey!) they're still the Bosox. The Yankees and O's follow, and with division rivals + A Rod/Mora, it'll make for some security-testing taunts.

I like your picks! You're not fooled by the O's trading for Sammy..

I don't think the Giants will win the NL West, now that Bonds is out, but who knows. I think the Cubs will finish above the Astros in the NL Central, but I'm not arguing elsewhere.

I can gaurantee you all that the Dodgers will not only win the West again this year, but the World Series after a sweep through the playoffs. J.D. Drew is your MVP while Dioner Navarro is your ROTY. Cy Young for Derek Lowe!

P.S. Why dont we have a free Yahoo! Gaf league again this year?

No. Both of the drafts already happened! Where were you?

Anybody else want another league? I could go for another rotisserie, I'm only in one.
