Spain broke apart due to the way the Dutch played though. Portugal had a man less for most of the match and in general don't have the individual quality of Spain.

Still a very impressive win, but 5-1 against Spain is more impressive and more of an upset imo.

Spain is arguably a better side than this Portugal. Even at their current state they are. Portugal was probably the worst of this cup so far, and then they had a send off too.

But I agree, our victory over Spain is overrated. They could've made 2-0 and called it a day. Van Persie made a goal of his lifetime and it shook them. Spain were completely dominated in the second half, still Torres just should've scored easily.

Its ridiculous to think that this side, with Eredivisie players and still crap up until a week ago is one of the favourites to win a World Cup in Brazil. Its because RVP and Robben played the best game in the Orange jersey. If one of them or both get injured or have an offday its suddenly very average what we provide.
