Soccer isn't big enough to make it worth it at this point for ABC. I don't like it but they're not gonna lose money because of it.

It still saddens me that not even when a game lands on a Sunday and at a comfortable timeslot (but not quite as to really disturb primetime) they still don't give a shit and relegate the USA match to cable. Didn't the last Round of 16 USA vs Ghana game drew like 15million viewers? That's insane for American soccer and huge numbers that any network would want to have in summer, isn't it?

Look if it makes you feel better there is an NFL playoff game on ESPN this year and MNF every week. But in reality most of the people in the USA who care enough to watch the game have access to ESPN or a bar to watch the game. Cable is pretty prolific.
