2014 Microsoft E3 Conference

My thoughts on Sunset Overdrive:
1. Really hope the sound effect catalog skews more to retro arcade noises than the wet/squishy noises that featured.
2. Character comments could drive someone insane if it's as repetitive as that trailer.
3. Would be nice to see more response/stutter from enemies getting shot. I know all the little grunts just gib out immediately, but that herker or whatever basically had zero response to being shot repeatedly. For a game being built around fast paced combat against a wide variety of enemies it'll be key to let players know what strategies are working best via tactile feedback.
4. Traversal looks to be working out well. This is Insomniac's strength so it's nice to see that they've avoided the failings of Fuse and made it a key part of the gameplay.

As an aside, I absolutely hate both the voice acting and the writing for Fable Legends. Good god. Talk about stereotypical British prattle. Try being a bit more unique than that please.
 
I'm interested in nothing shown so far.

That said, really liking the pacing in this conference. Very little bullshit fluff like there normally is.
Yeah, I think that might be why they announced titles in advance. It means you know about the game already, you know the basics and they can just show the game for what it is.

On the downside, there's few surprises.
 
Welp. I'm already bored. Looks like another iteration for the gameplay. But be a villian? What's this about? Oh... A base builder... Kay.
