Yes, there's CA in those shots :P

Here's my cheat engine table with free camera, timestop, hud toggle, fov, time of day and other goodies.

Don't have access to Photoshop right now, so taking a pause to share some screenshots from the RE4 HD Mod (note: only environmental textures have been upgraded in these shots).

EDIT: Updated the game to the latest version. CA is back now. Hmmmmmm.

CA be damned!

FFS put in a god damn option to disable it. How hard is that ?

Unless they are flat out Epic level stupid where they start using a ridiculous "UberShader" pass setup where you either get all Shaders or none. The # of UE3 games with this ridiculous setup is getting too high and impedes using SGSSAA for example because FXAA is forced on always. No matter what.

Techland all up in this motherfucker!

I think all of the Call of Juarezes (except ye which shall not be named) look pretty good.

Second one is just captured at 1080 a while ago

The screenshot comparison site seems to be down. For now you can just open these images up in their own tab and switch back and forth:

I just installed a fresh copy of the game. When I have time tonight, I'm going to go through steps 1 by 1 to see exactly what removes it.

Hopefully you can post it around the internets. It's so bad in Dying Light that I'd call it the Cross-eyed filter. I'd go as far as saying it makes the game look like a dull muddy PS3/360 game.

I'm sorry, actual res of the shot is 2560x1440, I didn't knew it was incorrect using the watermark.
You can dump whatever silly stuff you want on your screenshots. It's not a matter of being incorrect. It's just a lot of people would see that as ruining otherwise clean screenshots.

And 2560x1440 is not "2K." 2K is 1920x1080. But nobody ever actually calls it "2K."

These look a bit compressed ,may want to check where oyu are uploading to or how you take screens.

I've noticed that http://abload.de/ is compressing a lot of people's shots lately. Really strange.

It would only do that if you use its conversion tools I imagine. Straight shots should be uploaded as is. I hope!
With fraps, image format default--->jpg.
Maybe i should set it to BMP when i take screenshot then convert it in irfanview?
Yeah, experiment with bmp and png. Specifically png, because it has a reasonable file size at 1080p.

Thank you.

Using ReShade, I tried to emulate what the appearance of actual film might look like... I honestly don't think I was that successful, but I do think the results were interesting enough to share at least.

Nice shots. Did you figure out what does one have to do to get rid of CA?

Just did it again last night.

1. Installed grain removal from nexus.
2. Installed CA removal from nexus.
3. Used the Dying Light Manager and unchecked "enable chromatic aberration.
4. Disabled depth of field from my settings file:
\Documents\DyingLight\out\settings\video.scr

Opened the game and CA was gone. You can tell in the main menu.
