2015 PC Screenshot Thread of the Only Place Where Compression Isn't

Some new screenshots from my WIP ENB. This time, a misty coastal morning:

Gorgeous! Good work..I have to say it really stands out. Looks very crisp and the saturated colors look great.

Edit: Lighting looks better too.

Love this shot.

Thank you so much for your comments Nick! The only reason the ENB's starting to improve is that I've created a proper workflow for managing the ENB's settings. First I work on normalising the brightness as much as possible, then I manage colours, then I work on details (clouds, fire, sub-surface scattering etc) and lastly clean up the contrast. It's made the process much more efficient (and hopefully effective) and I'll probably try helping other new ENB creators with a detailed walkthrough to the creation of a preset. I've also found that you can fake large-scale global illumination via some trickery with image-based lighting and bloom, so I hope to share said trick with the ENB community soon!

Anyway - pretty sure I'm done with 2 of the 21 weathers now - including all times of day. Two more shots to celebrate and then I'm hopping back into the game to continue modding.

Gotta say that's coming along very nicely. Looks very good and seems like a ENB I'd definitely be using but I don't think I'm going back to Skyrim in a long while. It got so boring and repetitive even after modding so I'm probably done with it for good.
Tho, there's been quite a few ENBs that have pulled me back for a little more ;)

Figured I'd pop back into the enbdev forums to post something about Far Cry 4 :P

I found the camera and FOV (full control, no in-game limits). This way I can fly around with the camera without having to use that janky fly. Also have time of day. Just need timestop now....

Here's me using my free camera to look at my character using the in-game camera....

I could easily hack that into Far Cry 3 as well.... but I don't think I ever will. That game just looks kinda meh to me.

Also, the sharpening on those BF4 shots is fucking ugly, lol.

And Kevin, the lighting is NASTY in that ENB you're using. It's just all kinds of harsh and gross.

AnyoneInCherno's looks alright.

TV ENB is still my favorite.

EDIT: Timestop for Far Cry 4 is done now :)

Yeah it's FFXIV sorry, I wasn't sure what he meant by "landmark". The game has a pretty recognizable look, so I just figured you'd all know(Mostly since I posted on the last page a few though)

It is near Horizon as well

Where's all the Guild Wars 2 shots? First person camera patch is out! :)

Unfortunately, GW2 is not only an aged looking game up close, but I personally never want to go back to it ever. I like abusing myself, so I probably will when the new exp comes out, but that'll only serve to remind me what they've done to one of my favorite franchises and drive me further away...

But yeah, from the shots I saw on the subreddit, it looked really low poly and muddy textures were more apparent.

While it is true that the game hasnot really any high res textures , it 's art style makes that almost non issue .

lol! It does look pretty sparse. Personally I think the Frostbite 2 engine looks very average at times.

Yeah, it's been a pretty disappointing engine so far. Hopefully when Battlefront comes out it'll finally be visually good and, more importantly, have multiplayer combat that's more reliable than DayZ.
