I'll be honest, I wasn't excited for this, and would have preferred a new Vanillaware game over a remaster/remake. I thought Odin Sphere was too flawed and didn't care to revisit it.

But after reading about the changes in the new version and seeing these shots... I'm getting a bit hyped now. I'll play this for sure.

It is worth taking the time to create a Japanese account just for this demo.

Posted a screenshot that would probably make it easier to find the demo on the store.

All characters have their own unique skills and fighting styles similar to Dragon's Crown.

Mercedes is especially fun to play as due to being able to fly across and traverse
very quickly and having a unique bazooka type ranged weapon.

These pictures look so much better on the TV I play PS4 on (Kuro Plasma) This is my first playthrough of the game and really enjoying it.

Dumb, your DC shots are still great, I'm sure the guys of Evolution Studio would appreciate what you are doing on this thread for several months.

But it seems to easy for you to take insane pictures. I think it will be more challenging for you to take awesome shots but in game, not in photo mode. Do you accept the challenge ?
:-)

Yes, the pictures will look better.
But if the same pictures (in jpg or png) look better on his TV screen it's maybe because there is more contrast and vibrant colors on is TV than on his PC screen.

(sorry for double post, my bad)

Ya it definitely has to do with the TV itself I just didn't realize how much better it looked until I compared viewing the screenshots on both, my PC LCDs are both Samsung models, good contrast but lack the deep colors & black level depth of the plasma.

I don't know how much it helps but I'm able to select 36-Bit color depth in PS4's display settings, apparently it's not commonly supported on TVs (The TV itself displays "36-bit" whenever I switch to PS4 input).
