When you're in photomode, you'll normally do this:
1. Line up the shot.
2. Hide the UI.
3. Take the shot correct?

However if you do the following it'll result in higher quality effects being applied to the shot:
1. Line up the shot.
2. Hide the UI.
3. Press the 'A' button so that it'll start processing the image. (This is where the effects are rendered in a higher quality.)
4. Press 'B', and don't move the camera! (This will prevent the game from re-rendering the effects.)
5. Take the shot.

Also don't expect much Recore shots from me. I'll be spending most of my time with the PC version of that game.
