Easily some of the best AA on consoles IMO, it's up there with inFamous Second Son.
It's considerably better than Infamous SS to be fair. What it uses is EQAA (AMD's 4*MSAA) with TAA, that puts it beyond any game that just uses post process AA like Infamous (which tbh has been bested by a few games). I'd say the 2nd best would be the upcoming Doom followed by Fallout 4, Witcher 3 and Ryse (despite 900P). I'd put Dying Light, Infamous SS and FC games on the same level since they all have some form of ghosting present in them that the other games don't but still have better AA than the rest of the games.
LOL, I have the one of those![]()
Why do you count Doom among them? Based on the recent footage or the beta?
Dumb, looks like there's something wrong with your to settings, your blacks are too white. ( unless you put a filter through them?)
Great pics though, big fan.
Yea based on the beta, it uses a TAA solution as well with 8x samples (that's quite high) and it works so well that change in resolution is hard to notice.
It's a filter
Yes it was real time.I see, thanks!
Where do you rate FO4 in terms of AA against other titles? I found it be very clean, with little shimmer. Also, during the main menu of the game where you see power armour in a garage with different camera angles, this is all real time I take it? It was very hard to spot aliasing and shimmer.
I've never seen a game as shimmery <3
Dumb, all your last R&C screenshots look washed out to me. Blacks are gray.
isn't that one of the filters in photomode?
Nah, if you are determined to play that specific level, cheapest route is intro pack + Sapienza for $25 total.this looks very nice and quite a bit better than the trailer from what i remember.
I have a feeling this isn't stand alone, right ?
I agree, not a huge fan of filters in general. It looks way better unfiltered to me.Nooblet wrote that but I'm not sure. But even it's a filter it's not a good one (imo), you should disable it Dumb.
