2016 Console Screenshot Thread (READ RULES IN OP)

I wouldn't have thought it was relevant what resolution screens people were using as the screen shots are produced earlier in the pipeline so you're getting the same image on a 4K or 1080p panel.

Just make the images fill your 1080p screen and that's what the game will look like when you play it on that screen, as long as it's a full scale lossless (PNG) image. :)

So, its fine to leave the resolution in the screenshot settings on the Pro at 4K?

Does that technically mean when viewing them on 1080p, there supersampled down? Or do we need to use a program to do that?

Just want to make sure before I go on a screenshot binge I have the best settings.

Would love to see some NBA 2k17 PS4 Pro screens.

The top one is replay while the bottom one is gameplay

That house in U4 might be the best lighting I have ever seen in a game. Everything is so natural.

Its very hard not take screenshots of everything.

Yup. The lightmaps are incredibly high resolution, grounds everything amazingly well. I'm really curious how large they are, probably something like 500MB or so for those levels I'd guess. Maybe more.

You're assuming its all 4K.

I know it's not as I said, upscaled graphics. My point is jpg adds another layer of IQ loss to it.
edit: I see your edit, ok yeah, that's indeed an obstacle. So even apload.de auto-converts them?

So far I have anyway the impression that the 1080p pro modes are superior to the semi-4k pro mode graphics. More effects, downsampled cleaner image and sometimes better framerate.

That's because they are in HDR. For non HDR screens it becomes too dark it seems
I think that the PS4 Pro automatically adjusts HDR shots to SDR just like the XB1S does. Also I feel that Infamous' HDR implementation is borked at the moment. Even on a HDR screen the game looks incredibly dark.
