I think they will.
6TB won't be enough for solid 4k gaming.
Sony will offer the Ps4 Neo and then wait it out till 2018/2019 and then offer a Ps5 capable of real 4k gaming.
I think Sony can take a year and a half of not having the most powerful console.

Man, after that Scorpio introduction, Sony better bring their A-game tonight. Their messaging was extremely on point and I loved it.

The difference is Sony's could be coming out this year, and will likely be significantly cheaper than Scorpio by the time that launches.
Unless Sony pushed to 2017 and ups the specs a bit?

Announcing Scorpio so early is a double edged sword. Yes, you put pressure on Sony, but they forget Sony is in the driver's seat. This essentially gives Sony a wide open slate to do whatever they need to before Scorpio launches. This next 18 months is going to be insane. Conference wise it was terrible though. Just as bad as yesterday IMO.

You honestly think these companies don't find this stuff out without E3 presentations...?

Not bad. Although I'm really unexcited for Scorpio. It takes away what I like about consoles and that's standardized hardware and optimization. It creates even more reasons to just go straight to PC.

I like some of their new ideas shown off, but again I hate shooters and that was 90% of their games.

If the Neo leaks are accurate, they might be behind.

That's why Sony is changing their spec and delayed the Neo reveal. Sony is being really aggressive this gen, they will have direct reaction for every move from MS.

I think Microsoft is taking the wrong messages from their experience with the Xbox One. Being more powerful won't matter as much - the new console iterations are already limited by the current-gen consoles, and there's only so much higher you can go from 1080p/60fps before people will just invest in a gaming computer instead. It won't get the chance to produce anything that much more impressive than the PS4 Neo, I don't think. Releasing later is the real problem.

Good conference imo. I'm excited everything is coming to PC and the direction they're going with Xbox. Even with the PC support an Xbox console still has a place and I'm excited to see more Scorpio. Ability to play my shit anywhere is what I want. Good job MS.

I'm around there. The fact basically everything is Windows 10 also ruins my care for Xbone. We Happy Few looks great. Scalebound and Recore are both possible interests. Everything else seemed like the same old same old.
