Final Fantasy demo was terrible.
Scalebound is a dud.
No Cuphead release date. Was suppose to come early 2016, have been showing it for years now.

Time was wasted on Battlefield and the Division.

Went media blackout for a day after the leaks yesterday. Sad it got leaked but I loved Horizon 3, I loved Recore and dat Slim and Scorpio.

As they said Scorpio doesn't replace the One, they'll live side by side going forward, so the One S is taking the place of the One as the inexpensive, lower-end entry point for people who don't want to pony up for Scorpio.

Thought it was a pretty underwhelming conference, but not awful. As usual MS fell on the usual Gears, Forza, Halo E3 line up. We were spared FABLE this time around. Just fucking sad to see them not do anything with B-K, Phantom Dust, or Perfect Dark. FUCKING DO SOMETHING WITH THEM.

And who cares about Halo Wars? Do an RPG in the vein of Mass Effect. A third person shooter. A small scale FPS campaign. Anything but an RTS. YAWN

The only thing that I really enjoyed looking at what the pirate game.

Scorpio: We already knew this, but I think moving to iterative hardware will be a good thing. I like it because it'll mean that consoles won't be 5 years behind PCs at all times. I think console players will love the flexibility you get. Although if you have to upgrade your hardware every two years, then why not consider... you know...

Because a lot of people don't like the complexity of PCs? I get what you are saying but this line of thinking also leads to, why not just have a single PC platform? That wouldn't be good for anyone. Competition breeds innovation and great games so the more platforms the better imo.

I don't think many gamers will want to invest in both the PS4K and the Scorpio. Most that are even interested will get one beefy supreme console and get the cheaper version of the other to play exclusives. This new market is going to be weird. As someone who doesn't have an Xbone, I don't know where to jump in. I only have a mild interest in games shown for Xbox but I'm worried the Xbone S won't be future proof enough. So many new concerns for console gaming that simply didn't exist before...

Pretty meh. It certainly doesn't help that the whole thing was leaked i advance, but even without that, this felt kinda boring. the windows 10 versions should be nice, but I'm very suspicious of Microsoft's Win10 gaming plans. The One S is a nice touch, and Scorpio obviously, as well, but that was more or less an empty announcement.

Way better than EA, but not as good as Bethesda.

Save us, Ubisoft and Sony.

For me personally; the announcement of Scorpio was a mistake as far as getting me to buy an Xbox S. Why should I do that when I can wait until next year for the Big Dog? Options are good to have though, so I can't complain about that. I can wait a year for Gears, hopefully it will take advantage of the extra horsepower in some way.

I can't be bothered to make a PC anymore and I wouldn't trust my kids not to f*&k with it so a console is best.

I'm keen to get the Scorpio and I already have an XBO. Anyone who doesn't already have an XBO or PS4 isn't, in my mind, interested in the Scorpio or Neo and a new XBS isn't a bad idea.

Sales will tell.

why even announce it now? They have nothing to show for it and you just showed your hand to your competitor who can (and will) simply outplay you at your game again.

Would be stupid to announce a price on a console coming out next year. Also, people complain MS announces games too far in advance. This E3, everything was coming in the pretty near future.

Announcing Scorpio so early is a double edged sword. Yes, you put pressure on Sony, but they forget Sony is in the driver's seat. This essentially gives Sony a wide open slate to do whatever they need to before Scorpio launches. This next 18 months is going to be insane. Conference wise it was terrible though. Just as bad as yesterday IMO.

Yeah, that move was dumb. Not only did they officially cannibalized future Xbox One sales (including the newest Xbox One slim), but they just let Sony know about it & now Sony's going to end up delaying the Neo just to one up them again.
