This looks great.

What settings are you using here and how do you get rid of the HUD including that stupid watermark?

There's a hide HUD setting in the menu. It doesn't hide it in combat though. The watermark is just cropped out.
Settings are everything on its highest. I think chromatic abomination is off though.

How did you get DoF to work? I have everything set on highest but the DoF is nowhere to be seen. :/ Oh well... gfx options sure as hell are glitchy anyway at the moment... where you are faced with a massive window across multiple monitors because it decided to do borderless window, just for kicks, and choosing another resolution doesn't work or picks another random one haha ;).

The picture you quote has filmgrain and DoF, both not in the game (the DoF doesn't make sense in this situation, unless you want to focus on the player character). Haven't tested if you can add it with reshade yet. I havent' spotted bad AO though, things look great overall. Indoors things are a bit simplistic at times, but outdoors there are certainly sections where it looks like this picture. You also have to catch the same light/ToD, as sometimes the light is very colored and thus colors the environment as well and it looks less realistic. Building textures are definitely not from the 360 era, they're detailed and have parallax mapping. Perhaps it could have been a tad better across the board, but as with all games there are compromises.

I agree with the blandness of the game though... At first the gameplay felt like Infamous, but not as good.

lol

Put FRAPS on continual screenshot mode every 1 second and keep spamming the pause button/key in-game. You'll get a screenshot eventually of the scene covered in depth of field.

Holy shit The Division looks good graphically. So does Tomb Raider. Good textures makes such a big difference. I fucking love good textures.

The Witness is one of the prettiest games I've ever played.

I'm also impressed by how clean it looks, even if you don't use any downsampling. Read Blow and Co actually created their own engine. Really impressive.

This is the quality of the characters in Until Dawn.
But looks better in motion than Until Dawn. Transitions of expressions are way smoother in Tomb Raider. And some facial expressions in Until Dawn look awfully artifical that breaks the immersion (namely the "heav" ones" like laughing or real pain/shock etc.)

The only thing in RotTR that bothers me is the aliasing. FXAA in TR 2013 was a bit better. And the game own ambient occlusion solution causes heavy aliasing with a visible halo effect in many scenes. HBAO+ helps with that. SSAA 2x isn't enough and 4x is unplayable on my system even with lowest settings. So either way I have to live with it so I just crank up the graphics features within the FPS-distinguishable-ratio.

You're getting 20fps maxed out 4K with a single 970?

I have to do some more tooling around. I was having some issues with the graphical settings not working properly earlier, but in SLI I get like 25-29 FPS in 4K. When it's not glitching out and giving me 1-3fps.

Or maybe the SLI implementation just is not there yet in full force?

15 was the average, 20fps while indoors and less dense areas like alleys and stuffs. This is with a heavily overclocked 970 though, it's running at 1544MHz. So if you are getting about 80% better performance than me with 2 cards that seems pretty alright.

SLI is not scaling great in this game from what I have seen as well.

^I thought that picture was the artwork in the Skyrim launcher at first. Really nice

That l looks different. Is that really desaturated?

I should say. It's not a bad thing. Just different from what I've seen so far.

I think that's just something the game does to set the mood in different places, like here on top of the mountain. Sort of like the desert are being brighter. I sure haven't messed with anything. Or maybe my game's broken I don't know.

I wanted my predefined 2400x2400 resolution. Game gave me another predefined resolution, 1200x1920 even though 2400x2400 was selected in the menu. But it turned out it was actually a better fit for what I needed :)

Made a new character on vanilla Skyrim (vanilla-ish - only using around 100 mods, mostly fixes) to finally play through the Dragonborn DLC, so here's a quick panorama from good old Riverwood before I head off to Solstheim!

While it's certainly no graphical powerhouse by today's standards, I still find Burnout's look to be rather charming. It just looks so... videogamey.
