This is missing a lot of games. Where are Hades 2, Metroid Prime 4, RE9, Silksong? From the list I only care about MH Wilds, possibly MGS Delta and Death Stranding 2. I'm more excited for the unannounced games like the next 3D Mario.

The only interesting game on that list is GTA VI. Other than that I'm looking forward to the physical version of Plucky Squire so I can play that finally 🙂

Honestly nothing from that list. Nintendo will have some surprises and MP4.

Looking forward to segas new old school ip games.
 
Doom, KC2 and GTA6 were my picks, although I think GTA will get a delay into 2026.

Also, let's not forget we're getting a new Nintendo console, which will probably mean a new 3D Mario and Mario Kart 9.

2025 could be a vintage year in gaming.

1. GTA6. But it will get delayed.
2. Fable. But it will get delayed.
3. Death Stranding 2. I need to see some fucking gameplay already.
4. Ghost of Tsushima. This will get delayed.
5. AC Shadows. It's been 4 long years since the last AC game. I am ready.
6. Metal Gear Delta. My favorite game of all time getting a remake. I am ready.
7. Avowed. This looks surprisingly good in terms of choices. I am ready to wash that dragon age taste out of my mouth.
 
From the stuff thats on the list it would be: Judas, MH: Wilds, Doom (in this order)

The stuff i am waiting for the most is Persona 6 (if it was even releaved), Expedition 33 (if it had a date) and Squadron 42 (if it even exists), probably wont get my wish of these releasing in 2025 though.

Outside of that really hoping for No rest for the Wicked and Hades 2 to finally make it out of early access and i will definitely play Avowed, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and whatever Nixxes release, rest doesnt really look that interesting to me.

I dont believe one bit that Path of Exile 2, Atomfall and Fable will be out in 2025.

It's a sequel to one of the best games on the PS4 (if not the best game for some), it's set a few hundred years after the first with a different (female) protagonist with multiple new weapons at her disposal, set in a different part of Japan that is PS5 exclusive. What more do you need to know? We know more about this game than several others that are on the list. That's why it's strange it's missing.

Do you know about the actress that plays the protagonist? About her politics on Twatter? Do we know if it's the same dev team of the first game, or new people? Is it going to be a sp or GaaS game? In the past we wouldn't have to wonder about those things, but here we are in modern times.

Yes, it's the same Dev team not that fake ass bullshit that was spread on 'Twatter' as you called it. That photo was during international women's day while they was working on the first game.

It's single player, not GaaS (I thought everyone knew that?)
It's a game set in 1603, why would it have modern politics/sensibilities in it?

Anyway, guess we shouldn't discuss this here as it's rather off topic, just wondering why it's not on the list when it could even be a GOTY contender

As soon as I find confirmation it's the same team and a confirmed sp game with no GaaS passes I'll be on board, despite the actress hating the people who buy her game.
 
Surprised to see MGS on a lot of lists. Great game but i played through it many times already. Going to be tough not to fuck it up also.

I guess I'm a glass half full guy, I'll look forward to it and buying it unless I hear otherwise.

(It's definitely single player and not GaaS though, have you heard that it is somewhere?)

It also won't be the exact same team as personnel change game by game, but the firing of all the male staff and replaced with female was a (obvious) hoax (it's the same producers for certain)

We'll see. Even if it turns out great, it might be best to wait for the inevitable "director's cut" version.
 
Nothing on that list has me excited.

I'm thinking some unannounced Switch successor games might become my most anticipated.

Hoping for a online 3D Starfox and 3D Mario gets announced plus a new From Software game.
 
Doom TDA, DS2 and MGS3R was my vote. Never been a big fan of GTA, each time i sit to play one i end up kinda bored. I really have to power through at some point, maybe start with the PS2 ones.
