20th Century Fox finally commits to Blu Ray

At the JavaOne conference, Yasushi Nishimura, Director of IDCR Engineering, Panasonic USA announced 20th Century Fox will be supporting Blu-ray with motion picture content....here is a slide from the show:

As you might know, Fox was on the BRD forum but didn't commit to Blu-ray movies.....till now:D

They're a leading partner in the association that developed it.

No but there is an indication that single layer BRD may be pushed up to 30 or 35GB to gain cost efficiencies and manufacturing ease over dual layer 50GB BRD (naturally dual layer would eventually be pushed to 60 or 70GB)
