I concede to popular opinion. :)

Anyways....tonight's "24" has Jack
uncomfortably close to Navi and his son, in an attempt to rescue the son (Behrooz), and ultimately, do what he does best to the terrorists
.

I'm really looking forward to this episode, since they decided not to reveal too much in the previews. It, overall, kept its focus primarily on one aspect of tonight's episode: the
Jack vs. Navi a la "Metal Gear Solid"...even though we all know that Snake could beat the brakes off Jack. :p

Haha, there goes the single "Official 24 thread"

Told you guys it wouldn't last
The sad is that Mimic was the one who started the other one and now he makes this one. Shame on you! :D

I wish she protested a little more...some torture would have been nice, but I knew she was too much of a weasel to take it :/

BEROOZ deserves nothing less than a bullet to the head from Jack by the end of the day for making things more difficult.... SHAMEFUL.

I'm beginning to think the Secretary of Offense may not be entirely on the good guys side, don't know why, just a hunch.

Anyone else notice the cool ass song playing in the bg during some parts of the show. That shit is sick.

Anyone have any idea what that song is called?

Yeah, I noticed it too, it is awesome, I wonder if there is a sound track for this season out yet...sounds like it should be in MGS

Secretary of Defense

Hmmm, I'm guessing you weren't in the earlier threads...when Heller was captured and made a couple of attempts to get out, he was dubbed the Secretary of Offense by GAF.

Now, you're up to speed

Why the hell are you spoiler-tagging things that have already happened?

Decent episode, previous ones have been more exciting though. Some highlights I've enjoyed:

- Tony Almeda getting re-instated back into CTU. Go Tony and Jack!
- Audrey taking advantage of her ex-husband. Are guys this dumb at a shot at some poon? :lol
- That CTU chick getting a pay raise and pwning the director. I forget both names now, Sarah was it?!

Okay, 24 General Rule;
whenever you check files in a computer in an empty office building, you're GONNA FUCKING GET ATTACKED

Jack knocked him out like a bitch! LOL!

Btw, is there any reason why hotel security couldn't hold him instead of putting Audry in danger? Come on.... anyway great episode.

Sanababich! My grandmother is watching TV and I'm missing 24. :( No other choice but to torrent this. I've never used bittorrent before.

When does the torrent go up?

Pretty decent episode.

A few things bothered me, mostly the fact that there wasn't nearly enough people escorting Maryanne to the computer.

Next weeks episode looks really good. I'm looking forward to watching Jack have some fun.

Also, I have a bad feeling about Tony... Not that he's a traitor or anything but ... things are just going to well with him, with people speculating about the return of
Michelle
I dont know if he's going to make it to the end of the season.

Another 24 rule: Anytime main characters or supporting characters go anywhere with backup, the backup agents might as well have a target on there chest :lol

Usually I work on Mondays, so I've done the torrent thing for every episode except 6 and this one. I've seen it ready as early as midnight CST. Don't worry, you won't have to wait until tomorrow morning.

Two moments I didn't like in this episode. Araz dad getting shot by son.... so easy to see that one coming. And the bit with Marianne at the end. How in the hell do 2-3 guys take out all those CTU guys? Are these guys trained at all? Stupid. I'm just wondering how this Paul guy is going to end up dying. Suicide? Sniper? Pissed off Wife? SoD? hmmmm...

I want to know just where CTU fits in the overall government picture. They seem to be the American version of Britain's MI5 (counter intelligence on US soil) with a little bit of the FBI thrown in for good (power to arrest). They have to be under the Department of Defense the way Heller seems to get everything he wants, although in real life I would think they'd be under the Department of Homeland Security.

Basically how it seems to go is... they're a normal government policing agent, but when actual terrorist attacks are going on, they can do anything they fucking want. Well, at least Jack can.

This is still my favorite non-HBO show but at this point it feels like a major retread of Season 2. There will probably be a twist that differentiates it from the other seasons, but that's also pretty much expected at this point.

Oh yeah, one more thing I noticed during the show tonight- another legit phone number. Audrey's number on her husband's phone when he's at the hotel about half way through the episode.
