A Shining Example
For those of you who won't be able to watch here is a summary of the episode. Don't read this if you don't want to be spoiled. You have been warned!!
- CTU has no idea as to the whereabouts of the nuke because it can fly beneath radar and it is undetectable. It can remain in the air for a few hours and it is headed for the east coast.
- Marwan escapes custody (AGAIN!!) while Jack tries to take him back to CTU.
- In an effort to track Marwan's location, Jack calls CTU. He establishes a connection between Marwan's laptop and cell phone and CTU. While conducting their analysis CTU stumbles upon the record of an incoming call that was made by a cell phone that is owned by the Secretary of Defense's son. He is brought into CTU for questioning.
- Presidents Palmer and Logan are brought up to speed on the situation and Logan becomes increasingly concerned that the missle may be headed for Washington DC.
- Tony and Michelle get back together.
- The Secretary of Defense and Audrey interview the son. He says that he met a couple at a bar and ended up having sex with another man and that the woman used his cell phone.
- CTU is able to track the taxi that the couple used to a hotel. Jack and Tony ares sent into the field to investigate. The woman who made the phone call turns out to be Mandy!!! She hears the helicopters coming. She kills her associate and tries to escape as Jack and Tony move in. Mandy takes Tony hostage. She and Tony leave the scene before Jack notices Tony missing.
- Back at CTU Michelle has a nervous breakdown when she finds out what happened to Tony.
