Can't remember. Thug dude comes in, wants Kim, Terri and Kim try to fight him off, then Terri says "Take me instead, I won't fight you", so bad guy takes Terri into the other room. So, uh, it wasn't much of a mystery that Terri was raped.

Wow, wow, and WOW!! is what I have to say about the season finale.

And I also found out that there are people on my floor with the box sets and haven't even watched them yet!

Anyways, the love for "24" is strong on my floor is strong: I didn't know that some of my friends were as crazy about "24" as I am. We're all watching season two right now.

But they're not like me...they refuse to watch this season while watching another. :)

caught me by complete surprise. :lol I didn't think for a second that it would actually happen.

Right now, I'm watching the first few again (I think we're on episode 5). My friends talk to damn much when we're watching it. Plus, one of my friends has the subtitles on, which is so distracting because I can't HELP but read every word. :)

Oh yeah...they almost kicked one of my friends out of the room for almost revealing that a certain someone
would be making a guest appearance.

. My memory is a little fuzzy, because that's back when I first started watching the show.

I'm currently re-watching episode 4 where they reveal it, and I'm going to be watching episode 5 right after (my friend let me borrow the DVD).

This show makes me want to work for the government. :D Too bad the pay isn't too great. :p

One of the first things that irked me in the first season was how incredibly good looking everyone was. There CTU agents were glamorous, The terrorists were hot, and in one of the early or middle episodes Jack bups into a couple of fabulous looking LA cops that looked like they just came from a Maxim shoot.

Honestly, the ugliest person in season one was Jack's wife.

Man I envy you guys watching season 1 and 2 for the first time, I did the same when I bought the DVD's, season 1 in 2 days flat, and season 2 in about 3 days.

I just finished Season two, that last hour was GRIPPING. I'm so glad I already have season 3.

WTF is up with President Palmer dying at the end? He is on the box for Season 3, and it says that it takes place three years later?????! You would think the next 24 hours would take place immediately, making it more like 48. How else are they going to explain President Palmer being there after apparently dying? I hope they don't pull clones or anything out of nowhere.

The story behind that is actually the premise for the game. It's meant to bridge the gap between seasons 2 and 3.

PS:
It was just an attempt on his life... he doesn't actually die. They only show him collapsing and gasping for air; then in season 3 he's on medication due to the effects of whatever Naked Mandy did to him.

Yes, and no. 24 has done a crappy job of following up on the tantalizing snippets it hints at.

Now that I'm completely caught-up, here's how I'd rank them (out of 10):

#1 Season 1 (10)
#2 (tie) Season 2 (9.9)
#2 (tie) Season 3 (9.9)
#4 Season 4...so far (9.7)

Each season is the best on television and I love ALL of them. :)

Very nice thread, that almost makes me want to try 24 season 1 for the first time. Almost. Since I have heard some talk about the series having way too much propaganda, if you know what I mean. For instance, any showing of islamic/arabic terrorists who have no reason for doing what they do, besides being evil is flat out propaganda. I'd also hesitate in watching this if much of the Bush admin's point of view is being promoted, by the good guys. That's something that woudln't jive with me either. I don't need another avenue for Bush to game my ass, that's for damn sure.

So, should I still try the series or not? I'm a big fan of The Wire, The Sheild, Sopranos, X-Files, Oz and DS9, basically,the best shows on TV.
