CFK announced that the 96Percent-developed 2D action dungeon crawler Dungeon Slasher will launch on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on April 11, 2024. The game was previously available on mobile devices.

Dungeon Slasher offers a unique take on the side-scrolling roguelike genre, blending retro aesthetics with deep customization options. Players are invited to mix and match characters, skills, and artifacts to navigate through dungeons, each combination leading to a fresh gameplay experience across numerous playthroughs. The game doesn’t just stick to one mode; it broadens its appeal with ‘Normal Mode’ for traditional dungeon crawling, ‘Super Fast Mode’ for those who prioritize pace and boss battles, and ‘Challenge Mode’ for anyone seeking a tougher test.

The game’s charm is further amplified by its 2D-pixel graphics, bringing characters and bosses to life with a vibrant, retro flair. Players can also personalize their experience with various skins, adding another layer of individuality to each character. The choice of character and weapon combination significantly influences the gameplay, offering diverse mechanics and strategies.

The publisher added that content creation and sharing, with the request that copyright information and store URLs be cited, and kindly ask for the endings to remain unspoiled to maintain the element of discovery.
