3 developer interviews on touchds.jp [Naka/Kojima/Mizuguchi/Sakurai]

On Touchds.jp on the Creator's Voice floaty.

So we just got another interview by a DS creator that I CANNOT BLOODY READ!

This time its Kojima. You know he's going to say some thing insane.

The other two are from Mizuguchi/ Sakura, and Naka respectively.

HELP!?!?!

Kojima prediction as per Babelfish: The spirits have endowed upon this an undying quench for tactillity and discourse.

"I think since it considers that an old fan, た, a new user, た, and both can satisfy the DS version "my and others sun" now planned although it is regrettable in detail and that it cannot tell yet, and the plan of a cut end cannot do in DS further, if pleasure can wait. We send the sun to you by DS! "

Is that the rumoured 'Sons' game is being made for DS? Or is "my and others sun" Boktai?

link

Also Yamauchi had this to say:
For example, I think that creation of a new amusement market is possible if an animation movie is united with game software, and it contributes to growth route establishment of Nintendo. "

Movie game tie-ins? Not just pokemon.

Speaking of movies, did we ever heard what the results of Yamauchi's late October meeting with the Nintendo board about Nintendo making animated movies was?

Hopefully it was approved, as it would be interesting to see the results.

I don't know any Japanese, and I didn't even bother to translate it via Babelfish, but...

Naka: "I really like the DS. The two screens, particularly the bottom touch screen, opens up new possibilities. DS is a fresh system."

Kojima: "The DS is a new world to explore. While the competition allows me to make traditional games, DS challenges me to make new ideas and creations for the twenty-first century."

Mizuguchi: "The DS presents new challenges to game developers. I often complain about the creation of the videogame, but with DS, I now leave working with a good feeling in my heart."

Sakurai: "Everything about the DS is new and creative. I appreciate that Nintendo continually evolves the way that we play videogames. In addition to the obvious touch screen and dual screen features, its connectivity features are interesting."

I see your thread but I don't have the time to translate the whole interview. Basically Kojima is saying that there will be a Boktai sequel on DS which will use the second screen in a really cool way. They still want to detect the sun, but there will be a way to play it without sunlight too.

"Oh.. look... my.. laundry.. is done."

In all seriousness, it's nice to hear such people make those comments, but how about they actually demonstrate these feelings.

Oh look, there's a new developer interview up...
This time it's Namco's Yoshizawa and he's talking about Pacpix and Mr.Driller DS.

What the shit? Most stuff is translated before I get to the thread and this still lingers!?

The interviews are probably too positive, GAF would implode.

Part Two of Mizuguchi is up.

Also,

It is said that Nintendo is developing the game software which had a dictionary function for NINTENDO DS according to Sankei Shimbun. It is said that there is the "play heart" which employed the touch screen efficiently in addition to dictionary functions, such as English-Japanese, a language, and Chinese and Japanese.

President Iwata is saying, "Although it is practical as a dictionary, he adds a certain gimmick." A target is expected to become after next year for sale by junior and senior high school students.

Nintendo is planning a dictionary application. PSP Translator VS NDS talking dicitonary/translator.

Thanks Society. Now we need even more translated. Guys? Anyone? :)

Imagine drawing Kanji with the stylus and getting the Japanese, Chinese, Romanji, and English for it. Seriously, that feature right there would make it better than anything the PSP offers.

The gimmick could be a Kanji learning game for people. That would be so awesome. Mario Teaches Kanji!
