3DS Streetpass Experiences

My boyfriend and I just went out shooting videos and photos around a place called Old Town here in our city and got two random street passes from out of towners....... Felt good man :-)

No, that wouldn't be possible because you both need to have StreetPass activated for the game at the time of the StreetPass in order for data to be exchanged. Nothing is added later, unfortunately.
 
Finally met a white shirt Mii today and am at the end of Find Mii 1. I'm glad the last enemy doesn't require any fancy tactics and I can just spam Mii's to defeat him.
 
Met someone from a new region today and almost beat the last boss of Find Mii 1. Progress.
I also noticed that there is one specific special puzzle piece that has spread throughout my area. Most people seem to have it now.
 
got to yodobashi camera in akiba and its a heaven for streetpass

completed like 3 panels and got near the end of streetpass quest

My first Streetpass was on a train to New York then I walked to Nintendo World to get more

I finally got one the other day in my home town

as I was typing this post I flipped open my 3DS and I got someone from Mexico so my streetpass is 13 must have happened going to the bank earlier

Yeah, I've definitely noticed more StreetPasses lately. In the last few days, I've gotten quite a few random StreetPasses at stores, in restaurants, in the car, etc.
 
great I feel good about this it took me a very long time to get my first streetpass now I had 2 in my area CT

I go on a trip to Hartford tomorrow by train hopefully all the xmas presents are on the move

finally got to the darkroom for the first time :( damn wasted my coins for the day with no white shirts
 
Hmm only one street pass so far in the mii plaza but I did get another one today though, it only showed up for Mario Kart 7 and Mario 3D land.

Didn't register in the plaza and the Mario Kart 7 mii was missing a name, was it that some privacy features where turned on or has this person simply only played these two games and have not made any mii's yet?

Seen the green light, got my hopes up to use their mii in the streetpass quest :(

They probably didn't activate StreetPass for their StreetPass Mii Plaza. Unfortunately, I'd imagine there are a lot of people who got a 3DS with Mario Kart 7 or Super Mario 3D Land and they just went right into the game, not caring about the other built-in features like StreetPass.
 
Just finally got my first streetpass this last Friday; about damn time. The 3DS put the time around when I was driving on the highway on the way home - surprised I would be able to get one like that.
 
Got two more at the mall today. It seems like my local mall is pretty much a guaranteed spot for streetpass since the last three times I've been there I got at least two hits.
 
Walked around the Mall of America and IKEA in the Twin Cities and got a total of 7. Not too bad -- kinda fun to check the 3DS when I get home.

A few people had 30 + Tags, and for 2 others I must have been their first tag.
 
Was in London for New Years and this is a time when the police think it is smart to close bridges so you have swarms of people bumbling around looking for a way across the river. So I had the pleasure of being caught in the middle of all these bundles.

Despite this I only got four streetpasses that evening.
 
I worked in a famous theater in NYC last month. Got quite a few StreetPasses from people in even Florida and California, and somewhere in Europe.

But if I'm really desperate for StreetPasses, I know I can just go to Nintendo World and StreetPass away. (I still have memories of the Ocarina of Time 3D launch event. I'd get 10 StreetPasses, play FindMii/Puzzle Swap, then immediately get 10 more StreetPasses, repeat. By the time it was over, I had 60 or so StreetPasses.)
 
Manchester, UK here and still only ever had one streetpass hit despite taking my 3DS around the city centre many times - and just last week as well. Am I the only person in Manchester to own a 3DS?

I was at the nintendo world store the night they lit the christmas tree.

I got 0 hits unfortunately
 
I live in Fresno, CA. Got my 3DS on Black Friday and had 13 streetpasses before last Friday just carrying it around everywhere I went. All from California.

Over the weekend I went on a 4 day vacation to Las Vegas and I thought I'd take my 3DS and get streetpasses from new regions. Started out very disappointing. On the way to Vegas I got 2 streetpasses, but they only gave me SM3DL and MK7 data, no Mii Plaza. I got a streetpass in Vegas on new years eve, but it was still somebody from California. I finally got a Nevada streetpass on Sunday when I walked the entire strip. I also got a Costa Rica steetpass, which doesn't have a map for some reason, another from California, and 1 that was just United States. On the way home I streetpassed 2 people from Japan and 1 more person from California.

A little disappointing, but at least I got 2 new countries and 1 new state out of it; plus the Costa Rica guy was wearing a white shirt and finally lit up that annoying dark room in Find Mii.
 
I got my first streetpass the other day. I've been carrying my 3DS with me everywhere now just to get more. This feature really does make me carry my 3DS around a lot more than I ever would have otherwise.
 
Finally finished my first tour of duty through Find Mii 1 today. My tenth street pass helped me finish of the final ghost. It looks like I used 148 heroes to beat it, and 138 of those were play coin dogs.

Damn, time to run through it again for more hats.
 
I only have two. The first was at LAX two days before Christmas and the second in NYC on New Years Eve. I literally walked by thousands of people and only got two, wtf.
 
I just noticed in my Mii Plaza, that I'm getting a lot of Mii's I haven't actually StreetPassed, who seem to be from playing Mario Kart 7. To make it stop putting these in my Plaza, do I just set SpotPass to "off" in the Plaza settings?

No, turn off "by invitation."

Yeah, I don't like that either. I only want to see Miis that I've street passed.

I think the kid across the street from me must have received a 3DS for Christmas because I got my first repeat street pass with a Mii last night. It was around 6:45 pm when I was already at home.

How big is the 3DS street pass range?
 
I got six streetpasses today, finished the pikmin puzzle, and now have at least one piece for all the new puzzles. I also passed someone from North Carolina, new region on my map!
 
I regularly tag 2-5 people a day in Manhattan. While this is probably no where near Tokyo numbers, easily an improvement from 6 months ago and keeps my spirits high for people actually bringing their system out.

That sounds like a good experience. Same with the roommate passing. I wish I had more 'pass.
 
Went to the mall today, first time since Christmas. Got 6 street passes, one a second pass (up to three now) more than I got before Christmas ever, used to get two or three max. Pretty good.

Lots of people seem to be playing 3D Land and MK7, so that's pretty cool as well.
 
I was at disney world for a week and I got over 120 street passes. It was glorious :). However, i thought I got the gold glider for mario kart? Or is that for mario kart street passes? I don't know. its confusing.
