So can anyone tell me why I'm randomly getting Miis from all over the world (America, Russia, Italy, Germany, France) seemingly out of nowhere. I go to work (HMV) for a couple of hours and when I finish I have 9 or 10 Streetpasses. There's a Nintendo Zone next to me (Argos), so I thought it might be the Relay thing, but I thought that only stored the people that last walked past it?

Mind you, not complaining. Bought StreetPass Fishing and Zombie and I've gained a new found love for these games. I might finally finish all the puzzles!

I really wish you could cut half the scenes on this game instead of just speeding them along. For example, why can't we just choose the number of helpers to hire instead of having to go through each one individually? And why in the fishing game do we have to sit through that scene where you get given all your bait from the people coming on the trip with you. It's just an unnecessary time waster.

They have done, but sometimes I don't like to max out my trips so I can share my coins over the various games.

That's the birthdays taken care of have about 40 hat tickets between this and the 2 new games, now if only the hats i wanted would cycle around but i keep getting the crap ones popping up.

Interestingly after completing all the the dates you can press Y to get the option of wiping the calender to do it again, something tells me they won't be handing out hat tickets a second time for doing it so i won't be bothering but a nice option for those that like doing it i guess.

btw - if you turn off the Birthday Greetings under Options, do you still get them noted on your calendar?

I'm one of those dirty homepass users lol, so i get a lot of streetpass data. Japan had a bit of a head start over the rest of the world, it was fun watching them fill up plus you get a nice 22 tickets for not doing anything besides passing.

Not sure if disabling the speech for birthdays would stop you getting it marked off on the calendar but i'm going to guess not as when you get a date it pops up on the calendar in the corner of the screen.

It's clear the experience you guys are having is very different from anyone doing things as intended (even in Japan, as MAC cycling is going to get you -more- unique hits than your typical Japanese commute). We really should not be sharing a single thread.

The weird thing is is that it's always been like that for me. I'm Dutch, the supermarket across the street where I live is a relay point. Whenever I walk past I always have between 6-10 Mii's, and from all over the world too. There's a bit of a higher chance for Dutch Mii's, but I'm getting some Mii's from other parts of Europe as well as the US and Japan every time. It's been like that since I started checking this out about a year or so ago.

I already have every region in my own country, Germany, the UK and the US. And I don't even play these games that often.

People seemed to be using this thread way back but it's been abandoned for over a year.

It's just really, really frustrating to have to wade through posts where people show off what they've done from the comforts of home, when I've traveled across the country to accomplish less overall.

but I really don't think the intention is to show off... Homepass has made this alot more playable... I used to get like 10-20 hits a day while commuting to and fro sch :/

Yes, pay attention to your watering can as well as the ones other use when you are smuggling water in from lands that are not drought-stricken inviting people over. The watering can changes depending on how much you've filled in your journal.

have to say the new Helpful Hare in Find Mii is GREAT! I absolutely hated having a large, powerful group only to lose it when I got to a "special room". Then you had to spend coins to invite the right people back and not anymore!

Also, Zombie game is FUN!

Alright, so you can skip cutscenes in Shoot Mii and the speed in Mii Garden has increased. Any other streamlinings for the old games? Sadly, they didn't fix the biggest offender: skipping unlosable battles in Fight Mii.

Haha this reminds me of my 'rival'.
I passed a guy years ago at an Expo in London and he had over 5000 passes.
This was an absurd amount at the time, it was way before homepass and even relays.
I had about 1000 then and hadn't ever met anybody with more than me, so I decided then that I would catch him up one day.

I added his Mii to my Tomodachi Life island and all his phrases either reference Streetpass or praise me as the true Streetpass king hahaha.

That's how that guy who played Twilight Princess 3D appeared recently too.

I've got the 'met 10 special Mii's' achievement now (just this week, thanks Shibata) but would've actually welcomed some of them.

Yeah i have noticed loads of hacked special Miis as well. Got the one from Russia along with a couple from the UK and about 4 from America, getting tired of hacked miis, i just delete them from my plaza.

I had Shuffle in the 'glitchy' slot for streetpasses for ages. My current total is paltry, but it has only been recently that I have been getting more than one tag at a time.

Luckily there's no ticket attached to that, it's one of the Accomplishements on the main menu which are entirely pointless as they're literally impossible to complete.

I was hoping they'd be fixed (or at least added to) with this update but nope

It's one of the two built-in games in StreetPass Mii Plaza, which makes up the bulk of discussion in this thread. To activate it:

1) If you have not done so already, launch Mii Maker and create a Mii to represent yourself.
2) Launch StreetPass Mii Plaza and follow the prompts to activate it. You'll want to enable all options, including StreetPass and SpotPass functionality.
3) To retrieve the latest updates, scroll all the way to the left to find a set of blue circular arrows. Select this option to download the update.

Yeah I think I've got all the latest updates etc, I just always thought the things that already came installed were the puzzle piece swap picture things, and The Streetpass Quest game. I don't recall seeing this Find Mii thingymajig.

I'll have another look tomorrow as it's bedtime right now!

I've been in your shoes. I've only had homepass set up since last October, and I'm in a very rural area. I have to travel 20 miles away just to find the nearest relay points. I used to play using just play coins for the most part. I got 2 StreetPasses in my first year with a 3DS. Even before homepass though, we had people from Japan and people like Tyeforce from StreetPass meetup groups who put all our StreetPass accomplishments to shame. Are those people supposed to stay out of this topic too?

I don't come on here and brag all the time, and with my hompeass setup I get 18 extra passes a day plus the 6 I get normally from having 3 3DS's in the house. I'm still working on the second island in Ultimate Angler, and I've got less than 20 medals in Battleground Z.

Under normal circumstances I would be completely against using something like homepass myself, but the unfortunate reality of the situation is that StreetPass is made with crowded Japanese cities in mind, not rural America (or indeed even cities in NA/EU) where you rarely get StreetPasses if ever. The alternative for me is travelling 20 miles to town and then sitting in McDonalds parking lots to get StreetPasses which completely flies in the face of the passive nature of the StreetPass design. Without homepass I would be drastically behind compared to the average user here.

So because I choose to use a workaround to get more than 12 passes a month (not counting passes from my own household) I should be ostracized from the GAF StreetPass community?

Hmm weird - I just realized that the golden medals on the streetpass games mean you unlocked "everything" in that game. My Find Mii (Street Pass Quest) doesn't have it for me, even though I got all the hats. Is there anything else to get in Street Pass Quest?
