So I just streetpassed with someone I think while I was at Cold Stone (based on the time it lists). The guy's name was "Shlunty69" and his message was "Gimme a GB, Brah"... anyone know what that could mean?

Got my 50th streetpass Mii yesterday, and now the Mii Plaza music changed to have a trumpet lead or something. Weird.

Bringing my 3DS to the Bethesda event yielded quite a few passes and I'm only missing like five puzzle pieces across all seven boards!

I went to the NWS about a week after the 3DS came out, and within 20min I had 45 street tags and 4 Ridge Racer duels!

How is that possible? I've never got more than 4 hits at the NWS.

I think my street pass is defective. I even walked by the street pass "meetup" at Union Square, about 50 dudes with 3DSes, only got 4 hits. :/

One weekend in New York City, about 35 hits. Going to the Nintendo Store sure helped (about 20 there), but just random walking downtown got quite a bit of play. Just today I added 4 more in Grand Central, waiting to catch a train.

I think you just got lucky. Or maybe I was just unlucky. I've been to the NWS with mine and got a big fat 0 hits at it.

I'm pretty sure my StreetPass settings are busted. I haven't connected to anyone in 8 days, when I've been around multiple 3DS that can tag each other, and I've been play places I should have got a tag (Gamestop where I know the guys have 3DS, mostly) and still nothing.

I'm thinking of doing a system format, does anyone know if that will change my Friend Code?

1. Your Wifi must be turned on
2. Maybe you are unlucky in that the other people do not have their Wifi turned on, or if they do, they have yet to activate streetpass.
3. You are unlucky in that you have not encountered anyone who has actually brought their 3DS out of the house.

Question about Street pass.



My friend just got a 3DS. We fired it up, we both have street pass mode turned on, and we even added each other as friends.

Why aren't out 3DS adding each other? We tried closing the systems, putting them next to each other and just waiting. Nothing happens!

I dont know man, all I know is that for the entire time I was in the store, my streetpass light never went off, and after I would welcome like 8 or 9 people and then do the puzzle swap, I would go back to the main gate and have another 5-8 people to meet, and this kept going on for my entire visit.

Well I hit the damn jackpot this weekend Attended the SakuraCon anime convention in Seattle. Constant tags all day long. Managed to complete every single photo album and Find Mii. I also finally got to experience StreetPass battles in Samurai Warriors: Chronicles, and I kicked absolute ass for the most part during the entire weekend. So awesome.

there's gonna be an anime convention near me in Michigan in May or some later month. I'm gonna try getting more tags from there.

Pretty much, when you're in a DS game, basically it's just a DS.

It still records your steps in DS mode though and also adds to activity log the gameplay time, which is why I thought maybe it would also StreetPass. Oh well.

Living in Kentucky I'v gotten about 10 or so StreetPasses at the mall, through campus, close to work occasionally, etc. Then I went to Tokyo for a week (the roped off section in Akihabara comes to mind), and my plaza has about 150 in it. Seeing the green indicator light come alive is really addictive, no joke, I don't know how I'm going to cope without it not going off every 10 minutes, heh.

Nintendo, host more 3DS StreetPass events, stat.

all of a sudden the Ultimate guy shows up! I went all out with a level 1 Mii magic spell trying to kill the red knight thinking he was the last one This is gonna take at least 2 weeks to beat now. So fun though
