I've gotten a white dog Mii before, but not in the past week and not since reaching the dark room. I may be real-life grinding forever!

I tell you these games are f*cking with me ;). Still missing that last Mario puzzle piece and only getting doubles all the time. I'm alternating between both games to lessen the frustration.

Me and some friends all have 3DS's and we all needed the same last puzzle pieces for a few puzzles. It's definitely not random. It took a REALLY long time for one of us to get those last pieces.

Been in a StreetPass tag drought for over a week now :(

Hope to change that this Saturday. Gonna check out a few comic book shops that are having Free Comic Book Day and see if I can pick up any tags
 
I still haven't had my first streetpass experience. I've been walking all over this campus of over 50,000 students since launch with my 3DS in sleep mode. Nothing :(
 
Is it possible to update the OP with some tips or infos about how Streetpass works?
No needs to make a big OP but adding some content to have something like Streetpass OT would be nice IMO.
 
yea how does this work ? i do not understand the concept.. there is some sort of Questmode but i have no money to "hire heroes"?

Is this a real game or just some gimmick??

We are organizing a 3DS streetpass event at my Gamestop store in Pittsburgh on June 19th to coincide with Zelda's release. Event is starting at 1 o'clock for those interested. We'll be giving out prizes and food. No purchase necessary. It's at the Robinson Towne Center for those who are interested.
We all bought a 3DS and take them to work so anybody who stops by on a normal day is bound to get some hits from us too. I've completed the Findmii and 4 puzzles already from customers bringing in their systems.

It's a not a game in the sense it requires dexterity and buttons but to complete it you need some real-life leg-work. By walking around with your 3DS in sleep mode you gain play coins and one of the ways to use those is to hire heroes in Street Pass Quest. Also every time you meet a Mii via Street Pass they can be also be used as a Street Pass hero. Each time you pass the same person they become stronger. It's one of the more addicting aspects of Street Pass.

No, but I got a Spotpass notification about the first Software Update and the 3D video instead. It's not like I hadn't updated to the latest FW allready.

Spotpass seems to take quite a while in europe to update lol.

The third option is something like 'Next Person' so you can cycle through them without casting or attacking, use the colours that add to stats and then destroy with the high level peeps.


My sister is max level on mine and has all the puzzles complete due to working in a GameStation store so that took a lot of the fun out of the seeking parts. Due to coming and going the one day I got to 'meet' her 3 times! I got her to set up the two demo units in her store so that anyone going in gets those and up to 3 of the staff tags. they have had people go back to the store just to get the extra hits and usually leave the Miis wearing helpful colours for the first quests.

I might pop to one, but I'm taking mine to a Magic The Gathering - New Phyrexia pre-release to see what happens. Places like that are the only way I'll get a Samurai Warriors hit.

Can't do this in that room. They all go the way of the dodo before the right shirt colour pops up.

You could always use it to play the Streetpass Quest/Find Mii game.
 
Another 3 for me, while I was outside, and my 3DS at home. I seem to have much more success that way. I'll ditch the futile attempts to catch some streetpasses along my way to work and just leave the 3DS at my window.
 
I can't seem to get any anymore. I used to get one or two every day on campus, but in the past like two weeks I've had nothing (except for one from the Konami U Tour from one of the Konami 3DS systems... but I set that one up myself lol). Maybe it's cause everyone is busy studying for finals or something. I did take it to the library the other day and nothing there either, so who knows.
 
Went to four comic book stores today for the Free Comic Book Day event

Ended getting more free comics (9) than SP tags (2) >____<

And I think one of the tags was from a Gamestop I stopped by (Mii's name was "gay" and fave game was the demo version of SSIFV3D)
 
It's strange, I always take mine through Manhattan when I go, but I have yet to get a random tag there. This weekend though, I got one on my way to an N train in Queens, and 2 while eating Mother's Day dinner in a small town in NJ.

Sheeeit, I wish I had seen that post 4 days ago; my local comic book shop was participating. :(

I think I'm up to something like 67 or 68 tags, but it's mostly the same people over and over. My Mii population is something weak like 10.

i have NSMB, Twilight Princess, Galaxy 2, Other M, Kirby, Pikmin and 'Mario and Bowser'. all but Kirby and Mario and Bowser are done.

Ah thanks. That's probably all of them I would guess. I need a Kirby and NSMB piece to get started, dammit!

It's been slow going, buying most of my pieces with coins and getting so many duplicates. >=(
 
As puzzle orders seem to be geographically based, where are you and what have you done?

I'm in the UK and I've just completed the Kirby puzzle... I can't believe how cool Dreamland or whatever it is looks in 3D! Lovely animation on him

I've only had one streetpass hit, but I live on the outskirts of Bath and I've not been into town with my 3DS yet... I'm betting as soon as I pass the likes of HMV, Game and Gamestation I'll get a few more.

I think the one hit I did get was this girl who was just standing on a street corner. She looked like she was waiting for someone to pick her up in a car, like her dad or something.... at least I hope thats what it was. I hope she wasn't aimlessly standing around waiting for streetpass hits!
 
Okay now that's creepy. Last night I got a streetpass hit while being at home. How far is the range of STreetpass? Can it be that someone walked by outside the house (i'm on the first floor)??

I initially went checking every room to look for an intruder lol.

I had a great opportunity for my first StreetPass experience, but I had to get on a plane. There is a huge 3DS area in the Jet Blue terminal at JFK airport in NYC....but I was able to get on an earlier flight (avoiding a 3hr layover), so I didn't get a chance to check it out.

I'm watching Thor tomorrow, so maybe I'll have my first StreetPass experience then.
 
Went to the Santa Anita mall and only got 3 streetpasses when I walked by a Gamestop. I should have walked past the second gamestop. :/
 
How does the Mii Plaza works exactly? i spent 2 days with 2 3DS friends, and every 12 hours we'd get the green led.

We "met" in streetpass like 5-6 times, and in the Mii Plaza there was this red "!" notification... i took the new puzzles but didn't touch save the crown.

Today i play my 3DS again (alone) and i can't use my friends' Miis in save the crown, it's like i waited too much and lost the possibility.
What gives?

Yeah you have to use that stuff right away, it's kind of silly. So when you get a hit be sure to do both the puzzle and the rpg game.

I'm still missing two complete puzzles, no one I've run into has any of the 2 I need. Really irritating.
 
FFS got my first streetpass the other day in the commons (Boston). Kinda strange being I live in pretty populated area and had 3ds since launch and this is my first....At this rate i should complete the present in-handheld stuff by 2095 IF they dont add anything new. Was cool to see the lil green dot though
