I don't have much luck with StreetPass. I went shopping at Target and then wandered around the mall for a while, and got one Mii from somewhere. I'm guessing maybe one of the Gamestop employees might have had their 3DS with them. Today I was going around Philly for a couple hours, and got not a single Mii.

The only 10 coins for day rule is really messing with me. I went on a 3 mile walk and literally had to change the date like 6 times during the walk. I don't see what would be wrong with just letting you load up on coins as long as you don't hit the 300 coin limit.

I think the idea is that you're not supposed to grind incessantly to complete everything in one day, but instead complete the puzzles and find mii over time.

Changing the date to get more than 10 coins in a day is kinda cheating.

Got 5 hits when I went to Magic Kingdom over the weekend. Even got a mii from Puerto Rico. This was my first big hit with street pass since I got it at launch. I've had a run in with the same guy at a target store a couple of times.

A usual trip from Bloor down Yonge to Queen in Toronto nets me 2-5 hits, with two always coming from the employees at Game Centre at least. Nearly finished with the first play through of Find Me. If I didn't waste so many coins on the puzzles, I'd probably have finished it a while ago.

Yep it is the regular 2DS version, just look at the lower-resolution icon next to it compared to the high-res 3DS one for OoT.

Got 40 Mii Plaza tags on Saturday at the Pokémon VGC Nationals. Apparently someone there had been playing OoT 3D too. This brings my total up to... 41.

On the last boss for my second time through Find Mii. Finished all of the puzzle pieces while at Fanime during Memorial Day weekend.

I'm maxed out at 300 coins so I keep using them to hire heroes for Find Mii, only to max out again in a few days. I need some stronger Miis so that I can just blow my coins for pirates on Lego PotC.

Now to work on my pokedex...

I got about 150 people at E3; two of them gold pants but not Nintendo senior staff (even though I was not far from Reggie or Iwata). Lots of journalists and devs. I might have been able to get more but the ten limit really screwed me up as I was working and couldn't clear it as often as I'd like.

But oh man! The best thing was all the StreetPasses for Nintendogs. Made up for the fact that I was maxed on puzzles and Find Mii going into the show.

I got about forty or so while at the Nintendo World Store this week for StreetPass NYC's E3 Event. Even had a large AR Card cake! Didn't stay for any tournament though.

June 24th is StreetPass Princeton's second monthly event, for those of you in the Central NJ area. It's from 5 to 9 at the Gamestop in Quakerbridge Mall, and the major focus will be on a Dead or Alive Dimensions Tournament.

I actually find StreetPass to be a really neat way for people to communicate with other gamers. While it is also meant to be a passive way of getting contacts with other 3DS users, it can also be used to create small subcommunities in the local region for 3DS gamers.

How does that work, getting pokemon from people through streetpass?

It probably doesn't. I've gotten a few new pokemon each time I started the pokedex, so it was probably added some other way, not through street pass. Oh well.

I routinely get hits almost daily now. Granted I do take transit in a modestly populated area.

Also, every matinee I've attended have had people with streetpass on, and there's even people who are using street pass for the music player.

Wouldn't surprise me if I'm the only person in my country with a 3DS so it'll be quite a while before I get a StreetPass.

I ended up with about 240 Street Passes during E3. Finished all of the puzzles and my first run through of Find Mii. I got quite a few French people for some reason, and a couple of my passes leveled up to level 2 during the event. Now I have a total of about 250 Miis in my plaza.
