I just got Iwata Spotpassed to me, in my Mii Plaza (complete with gold pants). He gave me a Mario Kart puzzle piece and his speech bubble was gold. It was for the 1 year Anniversary of 3DS.

My mind is blown.

1) What region are you in? US/North America, Europe, Japan, or another one?
2) Did you get a system alert?

If it's NA, then I hope he arrives on my system soon...

Too late for me to do that. Because of mk my plaza has 1200 miis. Im not deleting over 1100 miis lol. just shut off the option.

I keep them away. By the time I've found out how to turn the option off I already had some 150 visitor Miis and had to delete them one by one. I only want to have my plaza populated with Miis I meet through Streetpass.

I believe everyone who got Iwata so far was in Europe... in Europe, the 3DS launched on March 25th.

North America had the 3DS on the 27th... so I'd expect Iwata to appear on Tuesday or so.

It'd be funny if the US got a level 4 Reggie or something. Also it's a shame Iwata's Mii doesn't trigger Japan as a country in Mii Plaza. The second special Mi sent to Japanese 3DS' did that and I got the map of Japan without streetpassing anyone from there.

You are lucky compared to me as I have only gotten 10 unique street passes. I pass by the capital a lot and for some reason there is rarely anyone with a 3DS. Campus gives better hits but at most I get the same person most of the time.

Multiple streetpasses are actually good (for find mii anyway).

Trying to pick which pink piece from Iwata I wanted was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make.

Went with Lylat Wars as that was the closest to filling up, should have went with Kid Icarus

I had the strangest experience concerning Iwata. I turned on my sisters 3ds and viola! Iwata is there, but if I look at my 3DS he doesnt even appear for some unknown reason.

It is a bit embarrasing,but I didn't know you could speed up StreetPass Quest. It is ironic since I thought it was very sluggish and slow to play with streetpass. Could have saved me a lot of time if I knew earlier.

Thats good to hear, but I kinda wish I had more variation with my hits. Like it was fun when I was traveling to Amsterdam and got hits from two people who were not from the Netherlands.

Oh that's bad luck. I sent him to the Mii Maker after getting the puzzle piece. Thanks for the tip on how to get him back to the plaza, but why you can't have him in both programmes is beyond me.

Yeah, the "StreetPass/SpotPass-LED" was blue and I checked my notifications. One said that I had a visitor, who is well known by Nintendo Fans. There he was: my personal Iwata

The 3DS cannot handle Reggie's form so he is forced to make a new Mii every month.

I passed some insane dude at Best Buy when I went to pick up Kid Icarus on Friday; he had every puzzle complete and was wearing a 3DS for a hat. :J
