3DS Streetpass Experiences

I'm contemplating going to the Arizona comicon tomorrow. Mainly to get more street passes. The Animal Crossing puzzle just landed this morning via spot pass for me and I NEED to complete it.

Oops, just spent the day without the data for the new puzzle because yesterday was my travel day to Animazement. At least I finished the Animal Crossing puzzle!

Another check in from me. Progress has been slow during my normal commute due to summer break and final weeks ( i worked at a university). Haven't have a single pass in the last month. And I think I'm the only one that play more obscure SMT and atlus title. Haven't seen anyone playing them.

I don't get many StreetPasses other than from the other 3DS in my household, but I'm starting to wish they'd increase the number of active titles you can have through a firmware update. I guess it might not be feasible, but it's getting harder and harder to choose which games to remove whenever I get a new game with StreetPass features.

Animazement is all wrapped up. In the end, five pink pieces from the new puzzle were nowhere to be found. Looks like it'll be a few months yet before I can have a complete puzzle collection again.

Had some chick in Streetpass lately whose last playtime was Virtue's Last Reward. In moments like this, everything seems almost fine in this world, lol :)
Also nearing the first time ending of quest#2, finally

Went to Düsseldorf over the weekend. There was a Japan festival, which apparently meant tons of cosplay and anime nerds were out.

Got 20+ streetpasses in the festival area. Probably could have gotten more, but I didn't check the DS much.

Got loads at the MCM Comic Con here in London. I stopped counting at 80.

I got all the hats and completed all the pink puzzle pieces. Of course, Nintendo decided to troll me by releasing a new puzzle for my American 3DS the day after. Oh well.....

My girlfriend got her 3ds. Now we have two.

Yet, streetpass just wont work.

When i first got the 3ds december last year, i got a few streetpass tags. And then after some time it just stoped.

I figure "hey, nobody has a 3ds in my neighbourhood, ok." But now im suspicious...

- Streetpass turned on (both systems)
- Wireless light lit
- I have 0 miis in line in my streetpass
- In fact i have 9 miis in my streetpass plaza total.

If you're not streetpassing each other, change your hats. Otherwise, not finding any 3DSes with streetpass turned on in range of home is the norm rather than the exception in most not-Japan places in the world.

I got 239 StreetPasses at the Zelda concert a week ago, then 80 more the next day at Comic Con, here in London!

Quick question: How many streetpasses can you get at once before it maxes out and you have to go into Mii Plaza to use them up?

10

but you can store up to 20 Miis at a time before "playing" with them; you just have to open Mii Plaza after getting the first 10.

I tried Street Pass for the first time in a few weeks yesterday but I didn't get a Dillon piece, I got Animal Crossing. Which I am totally ok with.

I swear, it should be up to the user to download any new puzzles and not automatically via SpotPass.

It feels like new users are never ever going to finish anything lol.

On vacation in NYC and went to Nintendo World 3 days in a row; streetpass everywhere. Got quite a few on the Subway as well. Hoping I can make one final trip there to grab some last minute merch and passes before heading back home to Texas.

Your pretty much fucked if you bought a 3DS less than a year ago and don't StreetPass with over 5 people every day.

More puzzles means a larger pool to get new ones from though if you choose to either buy or StreetPass.

I have 9,999 StreetPass Tags as of today!

This is what two years of going to StreetPass NYC Meetups, as well as many events within the Tri-State area does to my 3DS!

If you go tomorrow and/or Sunday, there are Nintendo World Store events happening. Tomorrow, there will be a Donkey Kong Country Returns event from 12 - 3 PM, and on Sunday, there will be Pokemon Trainer Sundays from 11 AM - 2:30 PM.

I just reached 100 :( Darn middle of nowhere South Georgia town.

I had like 5 streetpasses before last week. Went to Fanime just for the sole purpose of getting streetpasses and got 190 in a few hours. Could probably easily get over 500 if I was actually interested in staying there for the day

One of my Twitter followers streetpassed me that day too, which was amusing

I've only had my 3DS for a month.

Whoa! congrats on the streetpasses. In that same amount of time I still haven't broke 50 yet, no one seems to own a 3DS where I live. I'll never complete anything with just play coins.

When I was at college, I streetpassed my friends daily. Nowadays, I get randomly pinged on errands runs. Have also gotten tags even with the 3DS sitting in my house...

I really wanna go but man I'm in love with my air conditioner right now.

That's awesome!! :O

I'm sitting at 8,137 StreetPass Tags right now, and my Plaza Population is only 1,637 (I don't inflate my Plaza with Invite Mii Miis from Mario Kart 7 and such, though). Someday... Someday I'll reach 9,999 and 3,000! XD

dafuq

I dreamed last night that we got another freebie SpotPass Mii from Nintendo which has all the puzzle pieces... :{

Anyone know something about why this would happen?
I've passed with my friend over 55 times and around the 30-40 mark it stopped properly working. We still can pass daily, get puzzle pieces, and use each other in Find Mii. However, since his name started showing up like that I can no longer rate him or give him a custom greeting. The weirder thing is I show up normal on his end and the last custom greeting I gave him is what always shows up on his system now whenever we pass.

It's either because he changed his name to something inappropriate that the filter detected, or because he may have used a filtered word in a personal greeting, or both. Try having him change his Mii name and deleting personal greetings in StreetPass Mii Plaza.

The Best Buy E3 demo events are going to be a goldmine, especially because they're only having two four hour time slots.

One time last year I was at a convention and I got a street pass with someone who had New Super Mario Bros. 2 before the game had released.
