$400 is not really that much for a console, guys...

I really have no problem paying that. Hell a PSP is $250 :lol

I'm personally more concerned about $60 games. And you just know some of the "big" games will be $65. Soon we'll see Wario posting "deals" on $50 games -_-

Microsoft Xbox 360 console
433.49

plus

Xbox 360 wireless adaptor. It's this or a router to replace a good 802.11g device that already did over one hundred dollars in damage.

Ridge Racer VI
65.01. At least.

Xbox Live membership (1 year)
54.30, if we're lucky.

Equals: $661.41.

I don't see how anyone but kids with no jobs would have a problem with the console price. The software price hike is what's gonna cost us in the long run...

WHERE'S THE OUTRAGE FOR THAT?!?!? >_<

I like how people point to the 1st party wireless network adapter as being a requirement. Why dont you just get a generic one for 20 bucks?

Maybe it's just me, but I have this thing against game systems costing more than $200.

You're going to hate this generation, then - well, except for that one company... their name evades me...

The console price honestly isn't such a problem for me. With due respect, bigger problem is the wireless adaptor costing $100 US, as if this is the first time Microsoft even made one. Another problem is a wireless adaptor running away from cost-effectiveness. Component cables costing as much as PSP games and they're only pack-in quality, bound to be surpassed by third party devices if we see them.
