How quickly do these things 'sink'? Is it just plop -- ground gone?
pretty much. basically water erodes out a cavern and the roof eventually collapses.

Either I made up lies about the Boston Bomber or I fell for someone else's crap. Either way, I have absolutely no credibility and you should never pay any attention to anything I say, no matter what the context. Perm me if I claim to be an insider

They? No my Feathered Friend. He, he is coming. This is all part of Cthulhu's plan. Sinkholes, the fissures that form in the Great Lakes region, the increased volcanism.

Are you prepared?

I want to dive there.

Also, how deep is this one in Germany?
Really? You'd dive there? Just looking at it is scaring the shit out of me, I would be shitting myself even on those boats, I dunno why but I can just imagine it sort of 'flushing' and taking everything with it.

Sinkholes are damned weird, seems to be a lot of them lately too.

You will have to start exposing yourself to lesser Elder Gods and then slowly work your way up, building immunity. Takes lots of time because you have to find the buggers first.
