Makes me wonder how much longer I'll be here. 20 years from now when I'm 50 will I still be posting on some incarnation of Gaming Age? Will I still be going to E3? I sure hope not. What a depressing life that would have been. And after 7 long years I still don't have 10,000 posts. Some of you seriously need to find better ways to spend your time. :)
 
Made my first gaf acct shortly before the Dreamcast launched. Back then I think Marty Chinn or someone was dropping news on it and I just had to comment. I was a Sega kid, and GAF was a mostly Nintendo-leaning forum.

Oh, and Deadmeat was a normal smart person. And Opa made Dreamcast hype topics that were just as good or better than the "official" threads of today.
 
My registration has me at 7yrs this past Monday. I've been on this a lot longer than that though.. must have been a forum restructuring around that time.

Started lurking way back and finally got approved a couple of years later(07).
Much thanks to all the hard working people that keep the site running and moderated. That was one of the main reasons GAF appealed to me in the first place. So many amazing threads and there is something for almost everyone.

Here's hoping to many more years to come, new generations to join, and contribute to this awesome/hilarious/insightful/crazy community. <3

I probably lurked a few years before that. I feel like I was approved pretty quick (within a month or something like that). I gotta say, it's been an amazing experience so far. Thanks to the mods, the rest of the staff & the amazing posters on here.
 
Almost been 4 years since I registered. I signed up a month before my freshman year of high school, and now I've graduated. Time flies when you're on gaf man.

I wonder how much better my gpa would've been without gaf :/

I've been lurking since '07/'08. Registered/got accepted in '09 and I'm still a Junior, lol.

I just don't post that much.

I think I have been here 7 years. Time flies when you are having fun. I really wish I could make threads again though. I have been a good member. *sigh*

This may be the most addictive website I've ever visited. Its been some good times. Cheers to everybody on GAF, for being GAF.

Wow...thats strange. I distinctly remember being here through most of the previous gen. I do remember a point where GAF changed servers and everyone had to re-apply. Any way of checking?
 
Joined in like '97 or '98. Sometime before Ocarina of Time came out (for the first time)

I wish this board had a complete post history. The archives and goodcow are cool though.
