7 Days to Die - Is anyone playing this game?

I figured with the new Storm's Brewing update on PC dropping today (Console drop at the end of the month?) I would check in and see if anyone is gonna give it a go. The Fun Pimps are notoriously edging towards releasing content that has been overlapped by modders, but I find the low price of the game contrasts well with it's re-playability, and streamers and their fans seem to love it. I have played the game for years on console and I find it to be a great survival/horror/crafting experience with lots of different ways to play and explore. I found that the online aspect wasn't reliable enough for me, though. If I spend a few days on a server/world and lose my progress I tend to not make that investment again.

So is anyone else playing this thing? Is there a better game out there that you recommend? Any new players out here? I would definitely recommend giving this one a look!

Yes, I've already put in about 30 hours since the 2.0 early access update popped up last week.

This game is up there as one of, if not my all time favorite zombie games.

The game looked interesting. But then I read the steam reviews and it sounds like people are massively unhappy with the changes the Devs keep making to the game.

I usually just watch some streamers play live to see if a game is good for me. For this game I didn't have to do that because I knew it was the perfect game for me. The action can be a slow burn, almost a crawl, but I like it. I'll always recommend to give it a look.

It runs just about as good as any game does, little chug, little clips. I like it so far.

Been playing it for years I think im something like 4000+ hours across different platforms. Game is fun I usually play it with my brother when we have time. Game has been in early access for like 10+ years but nearing completion.

The newest update is decent although I find the game is losing its sandbox feel and becoming a little too guided. Still if you have never played it its worth it probably one of the best in the survival genre.

Game is good
You can play with the settings and get everything done faster

Random gen is good too but comes with bugs

I am playing on a map seed that is popular, its called LottaLoot, Trader Rekt is right next to a High School (I think he's not lawfully able to be that close) and I got burn zone just steps away. I don't play with bloodmoon on so this playthrough might last a few irl months! I am impressed with all of the changes so far (other than bees in stumps lol).
