Someone should have shopped' that with Kutaragi and some PS3's :lol

i was going to make a video of all the awesome software that the dreamcast has and how great it was.

Starting with Border Down....

... i didn't get beyond border down.

so i didn't bother.

So the countdown site was updated already? Let me guess... another countdown? *sigh*

that can only mean one thing....

Team Kojima are handling the Dreamcast 2 launch! :O

hoho... MGS 5 exclusive on Dreamcast 2!!!!! OMG Day1!!!!!

*now seriously, I'll boot up my dremacast just to play some Shenmue1/2, Soulcalibur, have a look around in Skies of Arcadia and then pack it up again... But not just now that my family is already sleeping and I don't want to wake them or the neighbours. :lol *

A Shenmue 3 announcement would be the best way to commemorate 9/9/09. Announce it, then unveil it in a few weeks at the Tokyo Game Show. It makes perfect sense, if you ask me! :D

Except for the ocean of money they'd lose, this plan has no flaws!

I'm sure the mile-long line is right behind the camera. You and your tricks, MisterHero.
The store clerk announced that the trucks containing the Sonic the Hedgehog 4 and Shenmue III bundles fell off of a bridge and died in a fire. Everyone went home but some guys said they'd come back when the games came out.

This has been Dreamcast week for me. I've been mainly playing through Shenmue, but have also played a little Sonic Adventure, Rush 2049, Hydrothunder, Soul Calibur, and also going through a bunch of my old Official DC magazine game demos, for those old titles I never got a chance to buy.

I wonder if Sega will have anything to say for themselves.

I don't want PR , I will just wait for Saturn 2 " DreamDrive in NA" for November 22, 2014 , it should be a handheld that can be turned into a console if needed ( powered by SEGA-TOYS ) , launch titles are Ristar 2 and Shenmue 3 and shin Sonic 2D , and Segata Sanshiro's grandson should be in the TV ads .

Unfortunately I caught the little bastard playing Tekken so I drowned him in a barrel full of rainwater.

The 1UP article was pretty nice.

I loved my Dreamcast back then, it was an awesome transition console and still the greatest jump between two console generations. Going from squiggly, jagged-as-fuck textures and smear-o-vision to the likes of Soul Calibur, Sonic Adventure and Shenmue was a religious experience. I doubt I'll ever experience a graphical evolution that big.

I'm dusting off my Dreamcast at midnight, gonna play me some Rez.

Where did this 9/9/9 = Dreamcast 2 launch date ever come from anyway?

9/9/99 (similar to sign) 09/09/09?

I waited for you, Sega! I waited for yooooooooooooooooou! *sad dog sitting on porch in rain.gif*

Also, Dreamcast was the "HOLY SHIT" console of the start of the 00's. No console SINCE has had the same "HOLY SHIT" impact in terms of graphics like Dreamcast did in Soul Caliber.

No one? Ah well, it's worth asking, right?

Anyway, my Dreamcast is unpacked and sitting next to my TV for tomorrow. It'll be my birthday, sure, but I don't have any plans until the evening so whatever free time I find will be for some Sonic Adventure, Jet Grind Radio, Shenmue, and SF Rush 2049 :D

man sometimes i forget that the dreamcast launched at $199.99. it's almost hard to believe. what a brilliant system and a brilliant launch.

DC2 delayed, 10/10/10, believe. natural progression of 9/9/99

Dreamcast = 9 Letters.
Wednesday = 9 Letters.
September = 9 Letters.

IT ALL MAKES SENSE TO RELEASE DREAMCAST 1 AGAIN!

Then:

Dreamcast 2 = 10 Letters, meanwhile. So I guess 10/10/10 for Stealth Launch of DC2 guyz?

I'll just repeat what I said in another thread:

So, 9/9.9 tomorrow huh... Let's look at the evidence:

Sega rumoured to return to the hardware market.
Blizzard saying Diablo 3 won't be out in 2010.
Apple event.

I predict a surprise Diablo 3 release on the Apple Dreamcast. Who's with me?

I just read the 1up article. Man, it's so depressing. Especially when you realize how right they are in regards to today's Sega; they barely even bother to put out solid hardcore console games anymore. But hey, I still have all my Dreamcast magazines, demos, games and the actual console. While it has gone into a drawer time to time, it's hooked up once again and I plan on leaving it there. Tomorrow I will check my Chao and see how they've been doing. :D

And maybe visit Shibuya-cho!

Understandably enough, when Sony promised its next system would have the power of a supercomputer, fueled by a chip so powerful it had its own emotions and was capable of generating lifelike visuals, gamers hung on their every claim.
