I've noticed the following problems over the last few days-

Firefox shuts down with a "Firefox must shutdown error" at random times.
Spybot does not boot up, gives a program is not responding message. Even after reinstall.
Certain games crash to the dektop with no error message at random times during gameplay.

I've run two virus scans (trend micro and pc chillin), and its comes back clean. Ad aware is clean. I ran crapcleaner. Defragged. Still the problems persist. They aren't major, but they do happen enough to be annoying. Any ideas?

Ugh, this sucks. Now my pc reboots when I try and copy files and I can't update my virus settings. It sounds like I have a virus. I really do not want to have to reformat, is there anything anyone can suggest?

delete any process running that looks suspicius(sp?), remove them from startup using msconfig and then update antivirus.
