Both are semi-obscure (more so the second one, first band is kind of an indie darling) indie noise rock.
First is early 90s and all dudes. This is their second studio album. Steve Albini did not produce any of their albums, but it wouldn't have been surprising if he did given their sound. Further hint:
Band name is one word containing five letters; album title is three words.
Second is late 80s and all chicks. This is their second studio album. Their third album was produced by Steve Albini but this one was not. Further hint:
Band name is one word containing two letters; album title is three words.
I don't know if those are good hints or not
