i'm looking for a good mp3 converter. i'm trying to switch a few to wavs and am looking for something free that'll allow me to adjust it to a shit quality. nothing illegal, so dont' worry. just making ringtones for my phone off the music that I already have.

does anyone out there have a good recommendation of an mp3-->wav converter with quality adjustment?

If you have creative labs speakers, their CD comes with creative organizer I believe. And I've used that to rip and convert and downsample mp3s to fit my needs. I didn't have to buy anything extra.

:lol i've gotta convert the mp3 to wavs so I can use purevoice and convert it to qcp's which i can then load onto my cell phone as a new ringer.

i just tried a "whoop dat trick" track, but the bass ruined it completely. ugh.
