a little BGE help please?

ok so i completely finished the factory part of the game and i left it and HH is fine and everything. but im trying to get 100% in everything and i noticed i forgot to photograph a few animals in the factory. so i go back and i cant get to the points where the animals are. i cant get into the elevator, the button does nothing. i use the service elevator and i get to a dead end, and i get to the loading dock (the boss area of the factory) and theres another dead end but theres a room guarded by red lasers and i have no idea how to shut those lasers off.

its literally one big circle with no where to go. id be pretty pissed if i cant go back and get the animals i forgot to take pictures of and couldnt get 100%.
 
There are some animals you only have one shot at or can't access after a certain point in the game. Sorry.

But yeah, I really, really wouldn't concern yourself with getting all the animals. Really. Don't.
 
Been a while since I played it but I'm sure it's still possible to get 100%. In fact, it was something that stood out to me as a very nice touch that even the bosses corpses stuck around for photographing, so that you could go back and get them.

How many creatures does it tell you there are left in the factory. The one that I think that could be easily overlooked is
on the dead cow in the freezer room, zoom in on its nose and there's a little plantlike thing growing on it. It's tiny and can be difficult to spot.

Edit: Now that I think more about it, BuddyChrist might be right. I'm trying to think of all the factory animals. I not sure whether it's just because they appear there first, but I think there might be some that are one shot only deals.

i almost feel like starting the game over now. ill probably just beat it then maybe do it again following a walkthrough.

theres 3 left. i had 4 left until i got that bug you mentioned. they're on the 4th and 5th levels in spots i cant possibly reach unless im missing something (which i doubt since i spent about an hour running around the same 3 little areas.
 
I don't care what subtitle it has, I will buy it! Bring on some angsty Jade! She'd probably look even hotter. Rowr.

Yea, at the very last save point in the game, after you fight
fight the giant spider using the Beluga
(it's been awhile since I played that part, I may be off on the names). Before that, however, you can go anywhere (I believe).

It's either that, or going to the moon locks out Hillyas.

I believe after you defeat
the general while you're latched onto his ship
, you're stuck on the moon. So it's best to keep an extra save in
the volcano with all those little dragonfly thingies
.
