To anyone feeling nostalgic to the PS1 or retro enthusiast willing to try some good games on that platform - sub this guy.

He makes good compilations filled with hidden gems, untranslated japanese exlusives and a few videos of translated goodness.
He helped me with remembering some great games and then some.

Good logo intros during that gen too:

That's quite the library Capcom has there. I've never seen it all in one list before.
It felt like their fighting game department was releasing a game almost every 3 months, and nearly every single one of them was fun to play.

It’s incredible to me that games like Tekken and MK still managed to compete and gain traction, because it honestly felt like Capcom was primarily competing with Capcom.

I've been watching Sean Seanson videos on videogames for a few months now. Guy is pretty good and ps1 is my favorite ☺️. Also he actually seems to play the games all the way through most times which is rare for a YouTuber.

I wish Capcom would release a Megaman Legends Collection already with Legends 1&2 + the misadventures of Tron Bonne, would let us finally use the Japanese exclusive red cap for the servebot if they did that.

back when they could turn out two or 3 games a year for a fraction of the price they make one game now in 5 years.

The dumb thing is they could go back to those budgets and time frames if they really wanted.

They have tried what you’re asking for, but I think you and others have simply moved on from smaller budget Capcom projects. Let me know if you liked any of these smaller projects from them:

Monster Hunter Stories 1 and 2
Exoprimal
Ghosts N Goblins Resurrection
Megaman X Dive
Shinsekai Into the Depths
Ghost Trick Phantom Detective
Teppen
Megaman 11
Gaist Crusher
Strider 2014
Ducktales Remastered
E.X. Troopers
Dustforce
Flock!
Okamiden
Last Ranker
Bionic Commando Rearmed 1 and 2

Aside from maybe Teppen these aren’t even counting the phone games, which have some good entries, but no one here likes mobile.
